Abegi mamas how long did u bleed after childbirth. My discharge stopped at 4weeks. It was jus normal whitish discharge. I was glad no more pad and kpekus is getting nearer.just waiting for 6weeks mark to do my pap smear and all before i start. Then suddenly friday i started bleeding. Dunno if menses don show already abi na remaining badblood.
Abeg do menses return so early. Tot na from 6months i suppose expect am? Abeg make una touchlight my mata.

It depends on how healthy you are eating so that the food you are eating can augment what the drug contains! For example, a pregnant woman needs about 1000mg of calcium daily, 600micrograms(6mg) of folic acid daily .Compare that with what is in your pregnacare plus the fact that some of the vitamins put in the drugs get lost by storage too.... Also, if your blood count is low too, pregnacare cannot not do much to help raise it cos it's iron content is not that high. These are vitamins that green vegetables easily supplies you. So the importance of healthy meals cannot be ruled out.
So if your eating right, you are good to go with the pregnacare max!

@ olubankemi, my boy is bigger, both of them dey suck like fire, but if they dnt suck for 2hours my B pad and blouse will b soaked so I extract. I eating much after the first 2weeks, I eat 3 times now, with a bowl of tea.
If I had enough help would have continue d EBF till 4 months, but my dear attending to them and this EBF is my major challenge.
It's stressful no doubt, but the joy that I have is more than the stress, I jut keep smiling whn ever I look at them.

Same with me. Mine stopped at 4 weeks and my period reappeared. Me that I have irregular periods, the thing tire me. My period has been regular ever since.

Personally, I eat anythingand everything....in moderation.
No Sunday went without my milo + milk on the rocks....about 2L of it....every Sunday.
I had a 3.1kg baby ( not big at all) with tear + episiotomy.
That was my 2nd child but the first one via my jajaina.
Countless women have had bigger babies with no single tear.
I used to be so scared of tear o! Running round this thread shouting "my yansh o!" Lol!
It came and healed in a week.
Even when I was cut, it was sharp and brief.
I honestly believe he wouldnt have cut me if I had been calm earlier on in the labour room cos he hesitated with the scissors but calm and I parted ways the minute I was on 7cm , by the time I was 10cm for up to 2hours?! I murdered calm .

Find calm and maybe you can escape the scissors.

Me I eat everything o.I took milo 2ice yesterday sef.The other day I asked a question about eating too much here but nobody answered me so I took my questions to my Dr and he said it's ok because my 1st 4months was hell,i couldn't take anything even water to the extent that if I see anybody eating I will throw up.I was weighing 75 before belle wen I was 3 month I dropped down to 53.So now that I have gained back my appetite I dey chop die.Anyday wey I no chop fufu or eba I won't get myself.Most times sef dem dey carry me stand up after I don chop 5 ppl fud finish.If the pikin like make e big afterall labour it's sef dey pain weda dem tear me or not I go still go through d pains.Na so our family friend intentionally starved herself during belle just so that the baby won't be big and mk she too for no fat after delivery, the day I saw d poor baby I was so pissed because he was looking so scary like lizard even as he don pass 1yr so.She is seriously regretting it now ppl dey always ask her who get pikin because d pikin no dey like say na she born am.

Your recent post just confuse me.....

I think the weight of the baby is genetics. It is not dependent on what you eat or drink. My 1st was 3.6kg at birth and I had serious tear. The second was 3.5kg no tears. I ate moderately in both cases and after the first my mum jisted me that the lowest weight of her kids was 3.7kg. Asked my Mil and she claimed my dh was almost 4kg at birth
also the experience of the person taking your delivery matters a lot. The first time I was just asked to push and my mind didn't register the meaning of PUSH. I wasn't told how to do it till I got torn. The 2nd the doctor actually used his hands to aid the opening of the vj as the head was coming out and he would say "oya push now.....stop pushing"
I usually advice that you watch the doctor during antenatal, determine how competent and willing to answer your question . This will show if they would be patient with you in the delivery room
