Laeroy: Sighs.... I'm really speechless. Seriously, if generator could do all dis chores ( washing n ironing), I would v said u shd take loan n get 1 so dt u can do d laundry during d day n sleep n Feed baby @ night. But most generators can't do these chores. During d day no rest, @ night still no rest... It's always gd as a single lady 1 shd think of business ( dt is if she wana b independent) dt won't stress her esp wen she starts having kids. My sister, there r 2 tins I'll advise u 3 tins I'll advise u 2 do; 1) close eye n employ som1 n den do small side business like selling sweets, biscuits et al. 2) if ur husband can help u seriously 2 do d ironing n sorting while u handle d washing (using the machine) n drying. 3) stop d business 4 nw till ur baby starts crèche. God must surely pick out calls 1 day o... Amen. It's well wth u. |

dunasy: Try baby led weaning: i.e. cut up the food into small strip pieces and give him. At that age everything goes into the mouth anyway so he should gradually start tasting food small small. Then keep trying to spoon feed him It will be messy but its worth a try. Just make sure you are there with him to monitor he is not stuffing his mouth and to prevent choking. Also try feeding him from your plate when you are eating. Children have longthroat like that.... some will rather eat from your plate than have their own plate. Na hand, leg and teeth my lo uses to struggle my food with me if i carry her while eating!!!! 3 Likes |

ayobarmy:Ahh the creator of this wonderful thread? I must chook mouth. Please take him to a lab and let a swab be taken for culturing, this is to pinpoint the exact organism and know which antibiotic its sensitive or resistant to! Maybe the organism has developed odeshi (resistant)on the antibiotic prescribed. Goodluck and God bless you for this thread. 2 Likes |

ayobarmy: In addition to what other mamas have suggested, it could be an allergy as well, try and think back if anything in his routine has changed just before the the wounds appeared. Any new foods? This may also include ingredients in the preparation of the normal foods you eat.. for instance my brother is allergic to shellfish. So using crayfish and dried shrimps in food was either omitted or in very small quanties. If it could not be avoided as some of our local dishes are very crayfish dependent, we just apologised and gave him stew.... New toiletries? New laundry detergent? New wipes ?..... It could also be somrthimg that you have been using that he may have just developed an allergy to. Try and start a process of elimination to see if it helps. Good luck 1 Like |

rezzy: there's really nothing you can do. it'll clear up on its own. to ease him a bit, u can try sucking the mucus out with your mouth if u can. my Lil oga also has catarrh now but I'm not worried cos I know it'll pass. u can increase your fruit intake so you'll pass it on to him via bf that's if he's still bfeeding. |

ayobarmy:I think an antibiotic powder like cicatrin should dry it off. You can crosscheck this with your doctor. Cheers |
