Occurstaem:
Thank you. I have never seen where 'broadcasted' was used as past tense in sentence. But please, do not try using broadcasted in an examination. The problem is our institutions and their old schooled lecturers and some so called tutorial teachers. English is indeed dynamic, and the beauty of the language is to stay updated. Most examiners are already in the know and would readily set questions to mess up the minds of young exam candidates whose unrepentant teachers have fed their minds certain words 'that can never change' just like you earlier stated. That it is wrong today does not mean it may stay the same forever. And that it is right today does not mean that it would stay that way tomorrow. Unfortunately, I have gone beyond 'examinations', if you know what I mean. I created a thread about two days back to discuss dynamism of the English language with respect to a certain word. I'm sure it would interest you to know. https://www.nairaland.com/3176198/grammar-conflict-converge-vs-converge#46816593 |

1. This is a case of subject following adjective which must be in nominative case. So option A remains the correct sentence. 2. This is an issue of mere wish and generally accepted way of expressing it is 'I wish I were. ' So option A is the correct expression. 3. Option B is the correct expression because broadcast is used as irregular verb. 4. Option B, talking on private matters 5. Option B 6. Option A 7. Option A 8. Option B 9. Option B 10. Option A 1 Like |

I did it because i have the money. What will i realize down the road ?? That it's a waste ?? I already know. I don't give a flying and running fucck, i can decide to wipe my ass with the degree. MadCow1: Tooo Easy, I will rather not.
Edited.. : After so much pressure from my Fans and Former Students in Yaba Left Univeristy, I have decided to answer the test.
Answer = A "As THEY that do" not Them that Do.
Answer = A 'Its WERE not Was'.
Answer is B. The past tense of broadcast is Broadcast.
Answer A.. I am not too sure but A sounds about right to me.
Answer B.. Ofcourse when a person falls, he or she goes down. You cants 'Fall Up'.
Answer B. Subject matter
[b]Answer B.. 'many already Quantifies the Baggage so no need to make the Baggage plural.
Answer B.
Answer EITHER is correct depending on Pronounciation. If the 'H' is silent, the 'an' is the appropriate prefix to use. If the 'H' is pronounced, then 'a' is the correct prefix to use. but if I must pick one, I will go with A Historian.
Broadcasted is the past tense of broadcast You wanna bet some money on that ?? |

Sanchez01: 1. Both options for #1 are wrong. You don't GIVE but GRANT leave. 2. A) I wish I were the campaign manager of PDP in the last general election. 3. A) The news of president Buhari's arrival was broadcasted yesterday. 4. B) They appeared to be talking on private matters. 5. B) He fell from the top of the house. 6. B) The subject matter of his discourse was excellent. 7. B) ) If she knew about his financial situation, she would have helped him out. 8. B) Her baby daddy has too many baggage. 9. B) B) Nothing but that would satisfy him. 10. This would definitely pass as A but the consonant 'H' in the English alphabet is the only consonant that is allowed to carry both the 'A' and the 'AN', just like the vowel 'U' can sometimes carry or tag along with the article 'A'. EG, He has A UNIQUE point of view.
broadcast doesn't have past tense |
