dennisMOD: If you want to write toefl Download the software, toefl interactive sampler 2014 and toefl sampler 2009(i prefer the older one). Download toefl preparatory guide (pdf). Download the mobile application Edusynch, it will give you loads of toefl style questions. I used it on Android (it's in beta stage now and it is free including speaking and writing section) Familiarise yourself with how the exam is structured, how the questions are asked and the different types of questions in all the stages and how all these questions are scored. It will help you organise your answers. Try to practice each section in exam manner at least 5 times. Don't let all these make you feel like it's too much work. If you register now, the time between now and the exam is enough if you dedicate an hour to study everyday. These exams are designed for people who don't speak English day to day not for educated Nigerians. I scored 110,and I didn't follow my advice here. All perused all those materials once. Lots of edusynch tho I prefer toefl iBT to ielts because it is computer based whereas ielts is paper based (no be say I don't write am). That's me anyway. Best of luck Do you prefer Duisburg-Essen to the others? I want to apply for Msc Sustainable Urban technologies, but they are requesting for a 2.0 German GPA. I have a 2.3, I think 2 Likes 1 Share |

Shout to everyone here, mehn! Germo dey o.... My apologies to those who mentioned me earlier, i am sorry for replying late. My course is research intensified than i expected (i love it though, nor be cramming as some ogas don analyze them experience with their uni system), but it's much about critical thinking and how creative you are with words. Looking forward to sharing my experience at the right time. God bless everyone. NB: The 'God' factor is key here (though not easy to keep the faith in Him but its worth it). 5 Likes 1 Share |

Neyoalao, I'll reply your email shortly. Toroze. I still dey observe oo. I'll buzz the house in due time. Also guys, the new visa fee is 17,000. Which means the embassy operates at the rate of 285. Let's see the new rates our banks will come up with by Friday. Gemeinsam Sind wir starke! 1 Like |

neemah15:Based on my 'unpublished' assessment, Berlin is by far tops on the list of places to study in Germany, from an average Nigerian student point of view in terms of quality of school, jobs, extension, affordability (private housing is shooting over the roofs recently though), internationality and mobility. However, I suggest you read the debates also and not get your expectations too high. I won't also encourage you to take your child along at first, this is not Nigeria where you can drop your child with your neighbours until you get back, the system works differently or at least, you budget a considerable amount of money for your child's welfare. 2 Likes |

em3r4ld:In my opinion, it depends on what you want. Study wise, Germany have arguably the best package for international students, great schools, ridiculously cheap transportation and housing arrangements for students, wonderful health insurance package (if you are under 30), by far better work/study permit than Canada. However, the only advantage Canada will have over Germany is the non language barrier. Nothing else. If you can deal with that and the challenges that it comes with then you are good to go. If you have the cash and won't mind the great limitations Canada places on international students to work while studying and probably are sure of getting that amount every year from home without hassles then Canada will be easier for integration purposes because of the language. But your Canadian course though, Rural Dev. how you take find am? Canada and Germany's post study stay incentives are fairly at par. You see I didn't mention Luxembourg. That's a business country, quite rich and expensive. I don't know anything about their package for international student, so I can't comment knowledgeably. 4 Likes 1 Share |

kodus to shwaz ,eke47,Williamson, nevibolt,, ohaskid ,,concido,,,,,,,,,, I'm not yet in Germany but hope to be there someday ive been following the resent topic and i must say,its something encouraging. let me start this way before every other factor, don't forget that Gods factor is the first.and again your determination . this fact remains "if u can make it in Nigeria we little opportunities, how much more than in advance economies? I'm not against anyone but the truth of the matter is most of our guys/babes here had wanted to be in Canada but for one reason or the other, they couldn't make it.so their mind is still in Canada no matter the amount of opportunities in Germany. in as much as we are realistic,we also need to be positive. its been preached over and over again the language is of great importance now.during my language course ,we were taught a lot about German system and how to integrate. now take for instance we always assume that EU citizens will always get job before we African. now y won't there,? only their CV(résumé) gives them more chances than we African. an average European speaks at least 3-5 languages or more. now a Nigerian wanna apply as a customer care staff say in Hoffman & Sohne GMBH. the Nigerian summits his CV with only English language proficiency ( sometimes without any certificate to back of up) and a German A2 or B1 certificate.then an European comes in for the same application. summits his/her CV with detailed formations like, internship in France, seminars attended in Spain,Australia etc, vorusbildund and propedäutikum in Germany and like two work experience in same field. at the end u see something like proficiency in french, German ,Italian English and little knowledge in Chinese. knowing too well that this job requires communication in and outside the country.who will likely get this job? pls Nigerians, let's do the ryt thing.there is this advice my cousin always tell me"its not only studying in germany, one need to understand the system" let's see the possibilities yet untap in germany.Canada and US that we always want to run to was made better bY blacks like us.so let start to build a better Germany for Nigerians there and yet to come in. in America,We have something like national Society of black engineers. this society helps all black prospective engineers to get a professional job. even if u attended MIT, CALTECH etc its very necessary that u belong to that society cos many corporation will always want to hire american before any other person. but through this societies,u will definately be noticed.its almost the same everywhere. even in Canada, u can't really tell what is going on there until you get there. again as i said earlier , let's see the oppurtunities before us on Germany.try to add skills to your academic qualification cos no one hires or degree. its ur skill first. even if blacks have not been making it before in germany ,that story much change. will will dominate their workforce IJN. PLS OH AEROSPACE PEOPLE. ,H0W IS THE MATTER? MAKE WE RELATE. THAT NA Y ME WAN REACH GERMO AIRBUS, LUFTHANSA TECHNIK muss hire us eeeee 9 Likes |
