Only true Federalism can make Nigeria develop. This model of sharing Oil money at the center was doomed from the start. It encourages laziness and corruption. Governors just sit and expect to share money and after they have squandered it, they even ask for bail-out and debt forgivness. Please let's adopt federalism, let each governor begin to think of ways to generate revenue for their state. We cannot all rely of Oil money. Besides, Oil is a finite resource. 29 Likes |

Now that states and LGs have gotten N101.35 Billion, will they start paying up their workers salaries now? At least they can pay for June and wait for bail out to pay for the backlogs owed 2 Likes |

To those of us who shout Buhari is this and that. It's a pity that most of us, because of imbred hatred for APC and Northerners, don't put our states governors under scrutiny even when their performances don't tally with their monthly allocations. Most Nigerian youth aren't living up to expectations when it comes to critical reasoning and constructive criticisms. 15 Likes 4 Shares |
