This is common sense, the government should put systems in place to help business and companies from closing down. The military approach wouldn't work here.
The taking over of assets by AMCON does not necessarily mean loss of jobs. Their major mandate is to revive them. This can be done in several ways: I. By injecting sufficient funds ii. Outsourcing the overseeing of company to competent consultants iii. Re-selling the assets to ready investors. Iv. Changing key management personnel etc, etc.
I have said my own, if things keep getting hard the masses will protest.

When the financial crisis hit the US in 2008, the govt. had to bail out wall street, the alternative then meant a looming depression, massive unemployment and the likes.

Now agreed this isn't in anyway as major as that, but still if the opportunity cost of doing so is less, government can always intervene, introduce an economic incentive to assist companies from closure.

It is unfortunate that those that is supposed to be opposition in this country all have their hands soiled in one dirty deal or the other. Though it is obvious that Buhari Govt is using that to silence the opposition but obviously,it is better they all pay for their sins. Buhari and APC can never rule Nigeria forever, if they don't learn from PDP woes then their own day of reckoning is coming. It is time that changes everything.
