Some people up there have been spitting rubbish on half baked educated people, touts listening to Olamide's songs... I laugh at your stupidity.. Aliko dangote is a tout right, Ambode is an half baked individual abi, Tinubu is a rogue abi, Please apply little sense when arguing, weigh your words if it is preaching sense... And you that are fully baked, Can you please describe your bakery so that those names up there can be baked there.... Yamayama sha... That's his genre of music, his styles, he once said it in one of his songs... *dem say make i dey wear suit/ i too dey wear towntops, dem say i sign so many artiste/i go soon bankrupt, f*ck you and your thoughts, iya yin o le help....... what's the essence of spitting in English and not making sense, to those that doesn't understand Yoruba,Can we understand Phyno too? Or is he left out.. Abeg.. Olamide organizes concerts overseas.. That's one of the steps to sell himself out.. Slow and Steady wins the race 9 Likes 2 Shares |

i believe sarkodie rap more in the native language than olamide, but sarkodie has gone badly international. Olamide still has a long way in contructing his music to fit the right timing 3 Likes |

aaronson: Not only are you using false innuendos but you are also sounding incoherent! Some of the brightest figures in the world enjoy listening to rap music of Future, Ludacris, Wiz Khalifa and so on, do you mean these artiste offer more intellectually stimulating music than Olamide? Perhaps your biased mindset came from your disconnect with the Yoruba language and that's okay. You are entitled to your opinion, as long as majority of Nigerians are feeling him and he's making massive profits on his music, Olamide could care less about international recognition. He has already been on several tours of the US, Europe and so on, yet you think an award is supposed to stamp his arrival on the international scene, brother stop dulling yourself! 6 Likes 1 Share |

Olamide has no classical side at all if he's not singing idi yen bad bi iban olopa ..he's saying .. mo gbo WO ni Malay mo GBE olosho meta ...rubbish all the time ....he's sings for the sake of earning money alone .not for the sake of mastering the art of music ...... as thugish as Kendrick Lamar can be even from his lyrics alone you'll know he has so much knowledge about music ...let's not even talk bout the kind of producers Kendrick works with ...people who with a mixture of jazz nd hip hop produce a wavey music .... not the pangolo type of producers Olamide works with ..... he's trying he'll get there someday ..I like him ..buh ma like for him won't stop me from saying his Bleep ups 2 Likes |

Having this much recognition at home is enough for the Intl community to recognise him. I doesn't have to go about begging Chris brown or jayz for feature in their video; they will come to him. All he needs to do is make himself relevant just like he is doing now... and with consistency they will come looking for him. 3 Likes |

abbey621:Sorry to say, You so media driven and people like you is the reason the black race would never evolve. In your myopic view, you trash down my opinion down to ethnicity bias when the Yoruba language is my favourite indigenous language in Nigeria. That's so wrong! You lack basic knowledge of the positivity I was trying to put out also lack basic sense of self and depends on the Tv to programme your path to life, Actually....that's why its called Tv programme so Enjoy. 2 Likes |

Iamsynord: Badoo sneh is still the biggest artist in nigeria. he has conquered Nigerian music industry with both quality and quantity Eleda mi, Melo Melo, Anifowose aren't club songs. it's all about connection with foreign artists, which olamide feels he's too big to lobby for 2 Likes |

Those criticising olamide's style of music are mostly ibos. Some said he speaks too much of the yoruba lyrics. But his collabo with pyhno "Fada Fada" should have change ur thought towards a core yoruba guy potending d culture lyrically and music wise. 3 Likes |

I think you should listen to BADDO LOVE by OLAMIDE YES... Thats predominantly English track...!!! You want his english track listen to that. He raps better than most so your so called internationals... If you want more english then buy Country music or jayz. Everyman with him way...! Its all about the Benjamins. Where is Mode9 and MI today... They don chop shit. If you are not relevant at home... International means shit... As far as i know... He remains relevant. Just like we still Enjoy Kwam1, Sunny Ade, Oliver De Coque and many others. He knows his market and he is making his cheddar... We dey listen to Indian songs and other african songs even when we dont understand what they are saying... Just like Awilo songs... Yet we go gaga when this songs are played. SO you are missing the point. He is yet to have a track that will break into grammy and worldwide and through not all artists do. But i believe its more important to KEEP MAKING MONEY and keep his business alive. When Flavor sang ASHEWO he never knew thats what would put him on the international scene... Yet his primary aim was to Make a living then... No be By GRAMMAR.... KEEP MAKING MONEY 3 Likes |

rhid1: Abeg na Yoruba people and their neighbors you dey call 'Only a few"? He is big among his people and they love him.... what else could a man ask for. I understand you support him, but note that so many countries in Europe aren't even as big as so many of our ethnic groups here in Nigeria, yet they do everything in their indigenous languages. They aren't "crying" to go "International" or whatever the silly OP is talking about. |
