But that was not a big punishment. I remembered the soldiers coming to wake everyone up with buckets of water. If they found u sleeping, they will not talk to u.they will just empty the bucket of water on the bed. funny enough it rains everyday in Bayelsa. so no question of drying it. That's the best they could offer then...... |

Emekayoung: My brother. And people wonder why Nigeria is the way it is. The way Nigerians handle situations leaves much to be desired. No problem solving skills. This is why our leaders are phucked up. They've been groomed in a certain way so all they know is to apply phucked up strategies to situations. Garbage in, garbage out. Nigerians want to be great but don't want to do things that make other great nations great. Smh. |

Nothing new here to have made up as a news. The reality is that the 21-day camp is a regimented period in which corps are presumed to be member of army and as such corps got expose to a tip of army's training. |

I had this experience during my orientation at issele-uku camp Delta state. We were made to carry our mattresses, our buckets, wear our white over khaki and walk around the parade ground wearing just our socks and no shoes in the rain. I didn't find it funny at all...I was just cursing all those army, state coordinator and even the person that initiated the idea of NYSC in the 1st place. But my the last 2weeks there were awesome (had a 2weeks girlfriend) |
