Brian Keith Banks (born July 24, 1985) is a former American football linebacker. Banks was a standout high school football star at Polytechnic High School (Poly) in Long Beach, California , and in 2002 he had verbally committed to play for USA. In the summer of 2002, Banks was arrested and charged after classmate Wanetta Gibson falsely accused him of dragging her into a stairway at Polytechnic High School and raping her. Faced with a possible 41 years to life sentence, he accepted a plea deal that included five years in prison, five years of probation, and registering as a sex offender. Wanetta Gibson and her mother Wanda Rhodes sued the Long Beach Unified School District , claiming the Poly campus was not a safe environment, and won a $1.5 million settlement.
After Banks was released from prison, Gibson sent him a Facebook message saying “Let’s let bygones be bygones.” Thinking the message was odd, Banks worked with a private investigator to set up a meeting with Gibson. It was during their meeting where she admitted, on hidden camera, that she lied about the rape.
This is where it gets interesting,
Wanetta Gibson refused to repeat the story to prosecutors as she feared she would have to return a $1.5million payment she won after her mother brought a suit against Long Beach Schools. She was quoted as telling Banks: 'I will go through with helping you but it's like at the same time all that money they gave us, I mean gave me, I don't want to have to pay it back.

1) Now considering how talented Banks was as a teenager, it’s safe to say he would have gone ahead to make a decent career in sports for himself, what’s the motivation for Gibson ruining his life?
2) The mother had to sell her properties to be able to afford the legal fees, how is it possible that Gibson and her mom were so heartless not to see the pains of that woman and change their stance instead of going through with the accusations.
3) Gibson and her mom were not contented with ruining the poor bloke’s life, they still went ahead to sue the school to the tune of 1.5 million dollars. Apt definition of greed and opportunism
4) After the secret came out, is it not odd that Gibson was more concerned with not paying the money back rather than reflecting on how she had succeeded in ruining Banks life. Selfish

Moral of the story, my dear brothers in the Lord if by now you still don’t fear women after reading this article, I’m sorry to say Satan is dancing azonto with your career. Peace out

sorry for saying this here, after my encounter with prisoners i decided never to play/trust women, millions of people served 7years sentence because of women not all women o, but since then this is my 7th month i never touch any woman because of the trauma.
