Anyway 4th of July is around the corner and it's a big deal with my organization. Every year we do a huge carnival like celebration and every arm all over the world participates. There is music, games, fireworks and plenty of distractions for the kids as well. This year, where I am, all this is happening plus something new. A cooking competition. Prize is season tickets to watch the broncos. I don't like football but I'll take the prize any day. They are worth upwards of 7K when sold on the black market. Yeah. Sign me up. My wife's bestee, coury, who is also the captain for the cook team came over yesterday and was like "I heard you are the shiit when it comes to cooking awesome foods". And I was like "well, I don't mean to brag, but yeah". And she was like "impress me". And I was like, "ok". And I blew her away with some suya I quickly whipped up. She was so impressed she is entering it as the main dish for the competition. She started asking for the recipe for the spice and I'm like "I can't share it because it was handed down from my great great grand mother. Sorry". Oyibo no go understand say I bought it at a store. Lol.
