I thought it had been established 2 years ago that NL pageants are nothing but glorified popularity contests? So, why the outcry?

Anyway, i have a few suggestions to help decide better on who wins these things.

The first one being that the early stages shouldn't necessarily be about NL, but social media. If the NL pageant has an instagram handle, why don't organisers just post pictures of all the initial contestants? The top 7 with the most likes can then progress to the next round that will be judged by the votes of Nairlanders. Honestly, the recent winners of this ish makes you question the organization process.
