They don't collect from the port. I flew emirate almost 3 weeks ago&they requested for fit to fly from your hospital. If u bring port,they wouldn't carry you&the hospital fit to fly must be a recent one. Make sure u photocopy it too cos they would collect one from you while checking in.

I flew arik at 32 weeks 5 days on the 7th of June. They accept only fit to fly from the health port authority only. I'm not sure about the cutoff time but the lady in Port health authority measured my tummy with a tape and wrote I was 29 weeks!

I gave it to them and took my flight. It costs N1, 500 and you can get it only on the day you are scheduled to trave only.

She probably did it as a favour to you. Those Arik people can be anal about how far gone at time of flight.

At the Travel Info stage, i clicked on the "Temporary Business Pleasure Visitor (B) "
The next line is to specify type of visa.
Please my question is am i to choose the BI/B2 Temporary visitor or i choose the B2 which is for Tourism /Medical treatment.
For me and my lil daughter we will choose the B1/B2

Please i need your help here....thanks

If your wife is pregnant please make sure you chose B2 only for her. You can do B1/B2 for you and your daughter.

I will be travelling with an F2 visa at about 33 weeks and was wondering if it's going to be the same procedure at the POE with those travelling with a b1/b2 visa. I am a frequent traveller to the US and I'm already registered with a hospital there. Any useful info will be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Your problem will not be finding good hospitals in Maryland, it will be the size of your pocket. Use the search botton on the top of this page to find hospitals that people have used in Maryland.

Ur fit to fly shldnt exceed 72 hrs. To be on a safe side, get from ur Hospital and also from Port health. Avoid stories that touch.
Leave the house on time so u can branch port health and be done with them on time... Incase there are many people

Get another one for July 1st,emirate can be funny o. They don't accept from the port. It could be private or public hospital

Its not late...got mine 2weeks to my travel date

Arik air doesn't accept more dn 30weeks. Report must Come from port health even if u have your report.
I got southwest airline from LaGuarda airport NY to hobby TX. It's a 4 hour direct flight.

Went with southwest airline which took off at Laguardia airport about 15mins drive. At a fee of $235. Time of flight was 4 hours

Afraid catch me. So went googling and found out that only one flight will now leave Nigeria effective July 1st!! Abeg let's check out tickets o July mamas/papas. Waiting for 8 am to call emirate customer service

Call them ASAP, I was told they are giving vouchers for hotel accommodation and meal to affected people.
