SOCIAL MEDIA FAILED IKORODU INDIGENES by Ettu Mohammed

If the Ikorodu massacre had religious colouration may be the govt would have acted faster.

We are fast at giving religious and ethnic news wider spread.

The entire social media commentators failed big time. Not even one of us could broadcast this gory incident. We failed the people of Ikorodu.

I pray God gives succor to the families of the dead, and also God should forgive the dead of their failings while alive and grant them ascension to High heaven.

As for Ambode and Amosun you must do more.

Who knows if the media aide of Lagos State Government and Ogun state government are on social media. I need to know. I must take them on if they are present on social media.

Op, why are you concerned about the publicity the massacre got? Are you Yoruba?

If you're not, then why are you giving yourself headache when the parties involved have chosen to remain mute on the issue?

Even the nairaland hotheads would prefer hanging around Igbo threads than talk about their own issues.

You see your problem? You see why people don't take your type seriously?
You've so much used propaganda on everything that people can't differentiate when you're lying from when you're saying the truth. Must you bring in GEJ in your messed-up unsubstantiated allegation?

While kissing shrivelled fulani balls of Mr Daftus and his APC crew, they got taken in by d fake anti corruption war, supported d harassment, intimidation and incarceration of very vocal persons like Gov Fayose and Femi Kayode, hailed the unjust muzzling of the opposition that would have drummed up a lot of attention even if designed to score political points because the ruling party and it's government is totally inept and unprepared for leadership.

What then do u expect? I am sure Ben Bruce would have had a few choice words to draw attention to security lapses that led to the unfortunate incidents at Ikorodu but they have rather chosen to go after his personal business. Even Nnamdi Kanu would have shamed and cursed the zoo leadership for failure to provide security but they are rather happy to see him jailed for speaking the truth.

This is the change they seek so they should live with the fact that there might be no more loud voices to call d govt to order. Femi Falana has sold his conscience to the highest bidder, they ridiculed the OPC and its leadership because they supported Jonathan so where will the social media impetus come from?

Rather than look inwards and determine their own path n development, they will continue dancing stark næked in d market place over SE/SS/IPOB/NDA matters with their negative and evil permutations. Who laughs best at the end of the day?

What a load of deceptive ***.

Fayose/FFK/NK/OPC would have never said anything as long as the perpetrators of the crime are terrorists from the East and SS, because it would earn them zero political capital (which the the motive behind their noise as you rightly alluded) and would in no way be against Buhari's administration. If herdsmen were the perpetrators, then of course their voices would certainly have been heard.

Make no mistake, no amount of blackmail will stop the anti-corruption fight whether or not you think its directed at your backyard or the coven of witches in your village terrified of being hunted down for their thieving brand of sorcery.
