Op, u see definitely don't know what u are saying. Mtn 3g gets up to 18mbps in my location. How can u call 5-12mbps 4g speed lol. Ntel 4g gets up to 70mbps.

Pic 2: my ntel with just 2 network bars and I still get 36mbps.

MTN 4GLTE has been available in Abuja, for quite some time now. When I search for network, I do see it in some areas. But until they start issuing LTE Sims, one can't take advantage of it. I hope they keep to their promise of rolling it out commercially next month.

With Fashola distributing darkness this 4G is a no brainier considering the battery consumption level of 4G network...,am okay with the 3G!

People. 4G service was made to offer 50-450mbps but why u get average of that speed varies cause
1.the bands mtn might be using is different(ion if band 30 can work on band4)
2. location may affect signal strenght( like u know if u are travelling from abuja to lagos.. you tend to notice no network coverage even if ur bars are full,, airtel ;(
3. device manufacture cheat bascially, the only prove u with 2g on a lte device
4.u people should learn jare. .. mtn don't zap data as people say.. airtel, etisalat are mb eaters .. glo tried a bit allowing ur signal to hang as they zap.. used all network mtn remains my favourite.
5. if on 3g etisalat zaps about 40mb for a download of (asphaltnitro)25mb and it signals trips like glo just that it's better.
