Hi Folks.

For Durham college, their Information Security Graduate certificate is for 2 semesters, how many years pgwp will I be eligible for?
If given 1 year, will I be able to apply for MSc during or after? Otherwise would I be able to work and seek for an extension based on skilled migration or the job I am doing?

Thank You

Cc thesoj

If the two semesters would last for 8 months (which is usual duration), then no PGWP. If it is 1 year, then 1 year PGWP. You can apply for MSc in other schools during or after the program. I would advise you get another 1 year program before you decide to apply for PGWP so as to get a 2-3 year PGWP. That is not the route to Skilled migration but CEC.

Help oooooooo

Question seems vague and that's particularly why nobody is answering you.

If you've taken your time to go through this thread you would realise that it's predominantly for study permit.

Talking about skilled migration is a bit prematured and misguided.

You need to first identify your goals and then reconstruct your question, you'd be surprised to see so many response to your question.

With respect pgwp.....you get exactly pgwp for the duration of your studies in Canada I.e if you study for 1 year in Canada, you will get 1 year pgwp. However if your study duration is up to 2 years, you may get up to 3 years pgwp.

You can apply for it from Canada. without coop permit you cant be allowed to go for the program. Coop is usually done in summer. you should have ample time to apply for it immediately you get to Canada.

This is not true. You can get PGWP with 8 months study. Check this link.

Good evening all,
Please can gurus help me analyse my chances here.
1. I got admission to do diploma in human resource management and my previous underg was civil engineering and i have worked in that post like 5yrs now.
Do i stand i a chance concerning relation with previous study.
2. Must the police character certificate be obtained from ikoyi, is possible to get it from other state like Anambra.

3. Since i have not applied by now, is it still going to be time to process my application before deadline day of report to the school which is 29th of Aug. Given that 10 weeks can not be reached before then

Please help.
Thanks

I'll do as you have said or seek out MSc for 2 years

Thanks a bunch

Your first sentence may be slightly incorrect (I think). A program that lasts eight months would get an eight-month PGWP (that's the minimum PGWP length) but a program less than eight months gets no PWGP. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/work-postgrad-who.asp @hustla, learn to use google na.
