One of the best things that could happen to a bassist is the correct application of
-The pentatonic scale(r m s l d r...)
-Arppegios (d m s d' m' s' d" m" s"...)
-Chromatic scales (d de r maw m f fe s se l taw t d'...)
-Modes (Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian..) and so on
in the midst of a groove

d = Normal octave doh
d'= Higher octave doh

what is the time signature ? How many beats per bar ? These up there makes no sense .

Time signature: 4/4
i.e. 4 beats/notes per bar

One cool way I score long intro's and sychopations is the rhythm method.....or i like to call countinq the sounds.......it woks by hearing time and time then gradually you count the number of notes that were hits and the pattern they follow.......then try singing them and finally playing them simple.....that's my method......the ground is open for your contributions

So far, I think it is Mallam T Bass. The guy is versatile and cool too. He has many videos on you tube. I particularly love his rendition of Iyanya's Kukere.
