BABANGBALI:] Not just worker. if you are a resident of Kogi you will pray for God to bless Buhari. this boy has tarnish everything APC. he is worst than the worst PDP governor. Cultists, Kidnappers have taken over Kogi. Instead he is using lies to rule the state. How can a governor lie that he has paid workers when he has not done anything like that. how can he wake up one day and open account for all staff in the state without their permission. How can he just be withdrawing money any how from the account. he has sent the assembly packing and has just threatened them to surrender to his wishes even though a court has ruled otherwise. the sins of Yahaya Bello ( or Yeye Bello as he is now called in Kogi ) are endless. Only God can save Kogi! 7 Likes |

For all those blabing there mouth regards bello traveling document being seized, follow news line before posting annoying comment all in the name of talking; its not compulsory u talk. Where were your eyes and ears when bello forcefully by the help of the soldier banned 20 of 25 legislature from seat leaving himself with 5 legislature to govern a whole state of 21 local governments? Where were thoses your eyes and ears when bailout was given to him but yet holding back to pay the labours their salaries from January till date leaving the public in abject poverty and afterward going to AIT to announce to the federal and public "He has paid All workers in the state"? leaving all of these behind, he wants to travel to Saudi Arabia to pray bcs god is not in Nigeria ba? dont just come here to post rubbish comment when your backup facts are not concrete enough. if he is not ready to be reasonable, let the federal government be unreasonable to him as until he start being responsible. and as a matter of fact, that which the vice president did was not too much. he did what he's suppose to do politely according him with respect what more better could he had wished he had gotten? 8 Likes 1 Share |

bejeiodus: What on earth are u insinuating? Federal system and u forgot that there are laid down rules guiding the Nigeria constitution. So because there is freedom of movement, we have to disobey the person in authority with valid reason? It is high time we stop thinking backwards in this country. Imagine a man oweing n still gallivating to travel out of the country at the expense of other's happiness. Even Rosullulah (S. A. W) says dt u must not owe debt b4 indulging in Hajj. 4 Likes |

Guseh: Well I am looking beyond Bello not paying salaries, I know that is not a good thing, but I don't think Federal Govt has the power to stop Governors from travelling, these are all signs of dictatorship, we should not all this to continue, I am not holding brief for the governor's. But once we see a bad process we should speak against it, there are better ways to make the Governor sit up, but by restricting is movement, that's wrong, he is not a criminal, he should not be treated that way. |

Nice one, you get to put your house in order before you set out on such a trip. Being a leader comes with lot of sacrifice, commitment and responsibilities. You are comfortable, that's why you think of going for Umra in Saudi, neglecting the fact that great number of your workers in Kogi are dying of hunger. Where is a sense of responsibility as a leader in your state, Yahaya? Fear Allah in whose Hands are your soul, and do what it takes to bring succor to the good people of Kogi, by ensuring their salaries are paid. That's why you are elected as their Governor, not for your personal interest alone but for collective interests of Kogites. 2 Likes |

mondob2k: You think this amounts to a breach in the freedom of movement? What about his breach of trust and his trample upon the rights to live and right to livelihood of his state workers? When Fayose was barred in like manner due to alleged corruption scandal, some groups of people shouted witch-hunt of the only voice of opposition left. Bello, an APC governor has decided to owe workers' salary. Apparently the FG sees no reason why this should be so going by the monies and monthly allocations accrued to the state. A leader should solve problems, especially those created by his carelessness, not run away from it. The presidency wishes to enforce a governor in their party to do the right thing - paying workers' salary rather than his no work, no pay rule. No pay, no travel. |

teebell999: Why are they barring him from travelling then? Wait let me answer you, because he is irresponsible and incompetent as a governor. The presidency dont really care about the people, they prefer to rig satan himself in than allow an opposition who is better to rule. (and by opposition I mean those within their party) You can shake your head off your neck if u like! |
