There is one thing with people, they never give thanks for their blessings, instead, they keep counting their problems. This administration has done exceptionaly well to fight courroption, yet our people are complainin dat it's bad. I know dat we are suffering, but that's all we keep saying, we spend all days complaining, where will our complains ever get us to. How are we sure that things would have been better if we are led by different individuals? To me, the president is trying, the governor of kogi state is also trying. What i can't say for certain is if they are doing their best. I have never been a governor nor a president, i don't know how hot the seat is, so it will be wrong for me to judge.
To cut the story short. We should also remember their archievments so far.

I dont know why we support illegality, lawlessnes and abuse of human right in this country
if the story about Kogi governor is true, PMB has no powers to do that. it is pure lawlessness on his part
only Kogi house of assembly should pass such resolution and make Pmb to act on it ...
when shall learn to do things right ?
alternatively, PMB can invite him to aso rock and discuss with him and pass the message to him....
PMB is breaking the law and yet some are praising him..too bad

We heard it in kogi even b4 that online media carried it Mr Gov....so save us this explanation. This gov moved all workers in Kogi to Zenith and Access bank...and we have it on gud authority that he did that cos they were the two banks which agreed to fix the 20b he got as bailout...we heard he even collected the profit upfront. All other banks have even gone on strike in Kogi since yesterday...most civil servants are on loan facilities with this other banks yet he moved them to the bank of his choice without due process....Bello is killing Kogi...

This is unbelievable so this messed up these much Anyway I won't be too surprise because I asked this question when this product SSS education system boy was anointed and brought forward by the "Lagos Lord" to steer the affairs of that state I asked then is this boy matured enough to handle a state with so much political tangles and twists like Kogi state Many zombies from APC came upon me and started defending him here and their but now it's no longer funny and with the statement I quoted above as part of the error he has committed in few months in office it's obvious my question then has finally nailed it all, very unfortunate.

The greatest stupidity someone can make in life is when "people are deceiving you and you are deceiving yourself" that person is already a doom. APC crooks deceived the kogi people and the kogi people too deceived themselves by allowing a non existing person who was nobody from nowhere to be imposed on them and they went to the street dancing but now can they dance

He must have been advised not to travel but bello I know has a heart of stone.
Nothing is working in that state (kogi). Primary & secondary schools are on strike, the state university on strike ( about 3 months) Banks are not left out too. Instead of sorting things out, he's traveling to Saudi.

Somebody up there said bello is fighting corruption. What will buhari not cause? Even bello the biggest thief in Nigeria too is calling corruption! The way he is threatening and harassing everybody who dare challenge him is worrisome. A few days ago he sent assassins to go and attack nlc chairman for organizing strike. All he knows how to do is govern by white lies.

The previous Governor was a Gentleman par excellence, who was not known to be corrupt and may payment of salaries a priority. He only defaulted after allocations dipped significantly and commercial Banks were unable to bridge the shortfall through overdraft facilities due to the uncertainties surrounding the elections. Post elections, they proposed that the much talked about "Imo Formula" be adopted in line with the realities on ground, but Labor kicked against it and proceeded to go on strike. It's for this reason Wada owed Civil Servants 2 months salaries. Fast forward to Bello. The man simply came in to cannibalize the civil service without understanding the problems on ground first. Even more worrisome is the fact that he's surrounded himself with rogue Bankers, whose sole desire is to milk the State of its resources because they know fully well that Bello's administration is temporal and will be vacated by the Supreme Court. Bello's unholy alliance with Aisha Buhari and the AGF has further put the State's finances under pressure because feelers from the State's Accountant General's office suggest that commissions are being paid to them on a monthly basis for the role they have so far played in keeping him in office. I am not an apologist of the previous Government, but I can say for a fact that in terms of individual qualities, Wada towers shoulder high above Bello (who in all fairness to him isn't suited for high office). In terms of Governance, Wada had a structure in place and people had a sense of "there is a Government in place." Under Bello, governance is non existent and is restricted to propaganda form Government House...

By Imo formula- you mean the one where he said senior civil servants and political appointees should sacrifice 40 percent of their salaries for sometime so junior workers could get full payment until when allocation gets better the senior workers will be paid their arrears 40 percent.? I was one of the fools who opposed him then. Now we know better. Bello has shown us serious pepper in kogi. After celebrating alert, you will go to bank and they will say no money. I have never heard of this kind of scam before. And nobody can shout or talk. They will either beat you or lock you up. Cult boys and kidnappers now have police escorts in kogi. Wanted criminals are walking free. We are under fear here. God please forgive kogtes and remove this punishment called Bello from our head

Well there you go; Wada had his failings, but I can attest to the fact that he is the best Governor Kogi has ever had. I worked under Audu and Ibro, both of whom conceded Kogi State's resources to their wives, sons and daughters. I met Bello as part of a team tasked with bringing him up to speed with Government activities, and based on the contents from the meeting, it was clear to me that he was certainly a misfit and had no business governing a State.

Who says that the Govt doesn't favor me? I am not a State Government employee, but a Federal Govt employee that interfaces with your incompetent Government on a biweekly basis. And therefore can say with all certainty that Bello is grossly incompetent. Rather than spend time on core governance, your Governor is rather committed to projecting his powers across the State. The Igbira and so called youthful sentiments that worked for him has faded out and the sooner he realizes this, the better it shall augur for him. I owe no alliance to Wada, but can say for a fact that he is an intelligent, calm and mild mannered man who wanted the best for his people, but fell short in certain areas for a multitude of reasons.

That's not true. Wada owed two months salary, and that's primarily due to the strike embarked on by NLC at the tailend of his tenure.....And take this from a Civil Servant domiciled in Kogi State.

It's expected that the Govt ought to first of all study the problem before professing solutions to them. Bello didn't do that, instead he chose to engage the civil servants heads on like a bull in a china shop, which is why the State is paralyzed today. And if Bello was seriously interested in moving Kogi forward, he would have been prudent in the way and manner in which he went about managing the State's resources.

Idris is a common islamic name; doesn't mean that both are related. The problem with Bello is that he has totally turned Governance on its head, so expect nothing good to come out of him. It's not me that's preventing him from having peace of mind, rather he is the one who has created problems for himself by threatening and locking innocent people up in SSS/Police cells. The mass rebellion witnessed in Kogi today is an end product of Bello's arrogance and lack of tact; I really wished that he succeeds as Governor, but I sincerely doubt he will. T

yahaya bello as not done anything wrong to be put on vilification leading to career assassination. the problem kogi as is tribalism. believe me no father would extremely want to condemn his son. how wch its was a Yoruba man or igalla man they wouldn't be an affront to their personality in public manner. the sitting governor have two major critics though its now depends on individual general view of those ethnics group. by the way less than a year in office Shldnt be a noise factor to be considered. u cud confirm from agencies wch as being paid their salary in kogi. to me all debt by the previous cant be lifted at once. let see how the bail out goes they needed 50billion and cbn provided 20billion remaining 30billion and fed govt as even put a stop to bail out. now dont u tink its now involves sense of wisdom to apply in this case. nobody in this forum as condemn wada for owing salary or do u tink its was even a nice ideal seeking bailout by any govt who want prosperity. let dont serve as a lover of critics. than to be the keepers of kogi dreams
