They want to awake the sleeping dogs and they must be ready to face wrath of their actions.

Open the Lagoon for them.

That is the effect of being an educated tribe. We value the unity of Nigeria and taking arms against any tribe won't solve anything.

And until deluded Yorubas like you realize that the so-called unity of Nigeria is non-existent, the race will continue to be the butt of jokes to the almajiri gigbos, ijaws, and herdsmen invading the region, murdering you with impunity and embarrassing you on your own soil. Wake up!! Nigerian unity DOES NOT EXIST AND IT IS NOT BY FORCE!!

Tales by River Benue. Abeg you people should shut up and let's hear word. Niger Delta militants are not in anyway responsible for whatever happened in Ogun and Lagos. Niger Delta militants are not terrorists. They don't go about killing people. I'm even very sure it might even be fulani herdsmen or some yoruba youths in the community that are responsible. It's a case of simply trying to give a dog a bad name in order to hang it.

Bunch of noise makers. If truly it was Niger Delta militants which I seriously doubt, can an average Yoruba man withstand an Ijaw man or Edo man when if they were left to fight? What have happened recently when some Edo youths crossed into the neighboring Ondo to harass some communities?
abi ...these people can lie very well o.
what evidence do they have to prove the havoc was engineered by ND millitants?
they just derive pleasure in using the media to cause disaffection.

I had expected the Yoruba Elders to actually send a memo to Buhari advising him to do his job as C-in-C. The Police and DSS should not solely be used for Political witch-hunt of opposition voices, they should be used to investigate who is killing the Yorubas and destroying their properties worth millions of Naira.

OPC was assigned the responsibility to protect those pipelines, but Buhari cancelled the contract, now all those OPC members that are now jobless could connive with just any willing associate to destroy pipelines in order to be re-awarded the contract.

Ofcourse, Gani Adams stated that OPC can no longer protect the Yorubas and 2 weeks after that statement, there has been so many killings of the Yorubas. Certain things are counter-intuitive, but this is so glaring that OPC has a hand in this based on that statement.

Yorubas have been known to be peaceful...will I say its cowardice ? That is a popular interpretation of gentility, after all Jonathan was called a coward but now we are faced with a brave tyrant. I pity una.

The President as failed as Commander in Chief, so Yoruba elders should simply ask the President to do his job.

Most importantly, the Yorubas should not take their fights to Niger Delta, cos if the Nigeria Military has failed twice at the creeks, the Yorubas surely cant succeed there.

Let there be peace.

' Yoruba's patience should not be mistaken for weakness. Our stage of social development is considered to be more advanced than any other group in Nigeria, that is why we avoid trouble, wisdom is the koko not muscle -flexing. Forget that we are peaceful, accommodating, hospitable, If we start ours,Hmmm Nigeria will shake

Why are u guys always deceiving ur self? Apart from Lagos, which other Yorba state is developing? Is it osun, ekiti, oyo, or where?

Oh! Like they murdered 46 of your kinsman in Enugu and you killed every herdsman in the SoutEast? There has never been a record of invasion or planned attack in the SouthWest like it happened in Nimbo. You really need to keep it low.

Mynd44 and Seun, I know you two are ardent 'One Nigeria' unity promoters, but please don't fail to put this thread on frontpage that way the rest of Nigeria can also take their turns taking shots at the cowardly Yoruba tribe that have refused to remove their heads from the sand and take firm control of their own destinies as a people. 'One Nigeria' unity Yoruba proponents need more of these sort of embarrassments to jolt and wake them up to the reality that weakness in the guise of sophistication doesn't earn you respect but ridicule in the face of your igbo, Northerner/herdsmen, ijaw miliant/Niger-Delta foes. Nigeria unity is NOT BY FORCE!!

Good people should be wise...the south is being reconquered and recolonised...the yorubas who seemed to be only standing man in south are steadily being tied because for some reason, they have helped pushed themselves in a corner...the south should wise up....this is not politics...most people here commenting as yorubas are truly hausas...the northern sole aim is to divide and destroy the south using the south themselves
