If after 30 years of legally drilling oil in that region nothing to show for the hardship to the locals, I say let them bomb it all so that we can all leave them alone to live their lives without the hassles of oil. All these I too know people won't even let people gain admission into schools in their region (catchment area) talk less of jobs nor oil exploration by foreigners. The pipelines stretch across vast expanse of land mass ranging into thousands of miles with vast areas of forest included. As such govt's eye cannot possibly completely monitor every inch of the pipelines. Even when militants had contracts to protct the pipelines pockets of vandalisation still happened, though not as frequent. Govt cannot be brought to her knees because of the selfish desires of few Nigerians.

If I hear.... Okpai... Agip host community in Ndokwa East produces oil, gas and hosts a power plant, yet the community is in darkness with no motorable roads.... D power generated in okpa is stepped down in Obosi.... Anambra state....
