AccessME:My people in Okene say it's a bit better over there. Don't know though. The truth is, some places are having it better than others for some unknown reason. Even here in Abuja, for instance, some parts of Garki 2, Apo, and Kubwa have quite steady light. |

The power supply at my place has gone terribly bad. Since the 24th of this month till yesterday,no light.,not even the annoying flashing. The light that was given to us that yesterday didnt last up to 15 minutes. Now the abysmal power supply caused water scarcity. A can of water that was previously sold at N5,now goes for N20. Now rewind back time 2 years back.,my area Awka, Anambra state was having up to 18 hours supply daily, and minimal supply of 15 hours during Goodluck's administration. At a point in time, i even created a thread of the sheer daily supply of power. Some zombies attributed it to increase rainfall, now my question is, have the rain ceased falling? Ever since one old certified Daura President without certificate came to be, things have totally fallen apart in this country. In the words of Achebe,''....the centre cannot hold, mere anarchy is loosed upon the land.'' Ever since the dullard came in, all spheres of life in this country have experienced one ill luck or the other. In this administration, we lost 2 indigenous coaches in one month. Why are we not asking pertinent questions? Innocent lives are wasted almost on daily basis and we still remain calm? Hyper inflation, paucity of money and unimaginable poverty rate across the land. The sheer number of sad news that characterized this hullabaloo of a government is innumerable to count. And instead of us saying the truth that things arent moving right in this country right now, we are here playing party politics, dancing naked in ignorance and defending the undefendable. The poor masses keep dying while the privileged political class keep playing us "the puppet and the puppeteer" game. The bottom line is that things are not moving and the government is insensitive and insincere. I know am writing this out of emotions, Yes, am just emotional that things should change for good. Last administration as bad as it was, people had one thing that kept them going. And that is 'HOPE'. Hope that things will get better. This hope is currently being taken away from the masses. Let me stop here for now. 17 Likes 4 Shares |

UnknownT: I was in asaba last wk... Na inside glo base Station I dey charge. But seriously, it is not the duty of yhe state govt to repair anything .... It is the duty of the disco Government will spend hundred millions on communal electricity Projects only for the disco to claim ownership of the assets they didnt break a sweat over.... Its annoying. The earlier we do away with the national grid, d better. Delta state has 3 power plants and yet asaba does not have light.... Na wa 1 Like |

During GEJ tenure when there was power improvement, haters claimed it was high water level or something. Well we're well into rainy season and all we have to show is total darkness. Power supply is nothing to write home about here in A town, Anambra state. 4 Likes |
