The General Superintendent, Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor Williams Folorunsho Ikumuyiwa, otherwise known as W.F Kumuyi has called on Nigerians not to lose hope in President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

Speaking during a visit to the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) national headquarters in Abuja, yesterday, the former university don said he was hopeful that President Buhari-led federal government was on the right track to reposition the nation’s economy.

He said, “Although the country might be passing through the ‘best of times’, there are strong reasons not to lose hope in the country. Nigerians should not lose hope in President Muhamadu Buhari, because God is on the throne; He will turn things around for Nigeria. There is always light after the tunnel.’’
‘’There is something about where you are and where you are going. The direction you are facing matters a lot. Wherever you are, if you remain focused in the right direction, you will achieve the desired goal and objective. I am optimistic the President Buhari-led federal government is focused and his cabinet knows what they are doing,’’ Pastor Kumuyi said.

He also described NCPC as a blessing to Christians and Nigeria as a whole.

“But, first of all, there is a base with which they are working and I also believe that there is repositioning going on in the commission”, he added.

Nigerians have lost hope in people like you who have failed to tell our politicians the plain truth.. Truth be told if only the religious leaders both Christians and Muslims including traditional leaders tell our leaders the plain truth probably Nigeria will have achieved developed status by now.

God elevated Buhari to the highest position in Nigeria for one purpose only; To make his final disgrace and punishment known to all and forgotten by none.

Is there any difference with these useless so-called men of God and their politican counterparts?

Both use flattery and lies to decieve the gullible downtrodden masses.

The massage is wrong it should be; Nigerians should find hope for Nigeria because all hope have been lost. There is no need to hope on a country that have lost hope since the day Yakubu Gowon took power and acted like a conqueror.

How could a person lose what they NEVER had?

Only fools and gullibles, who never paid adequate attention to history, had any faint idea of hope in PMB.

Buhari and misery are siamese in nature.

Whenever God wants to punish stupid masses, He gives them terrible leaders - or He allows them make stupid electoral decisions.

BTW, if our elevated clergymen have repeatedly told our leaders the ugly truth, Nigeria would have found itself in this present mess.

How can you say God elevated buhari to the highest seat in the land just to disgrace him? Whether we like it or not, buhari is already an achiever. He has Power, money, children, grandchildren, a good wife etc and don't forget, buhari is 73yrs old. What else will a man ask for again?

The grand delusion we saw in the last election as personified by the Chanji chanters was not ordinary .

"God had ordained a great delusion on them to believe a lie" - 2 Thessalonians 2:11.

Just like Pharaoh's heart was hardened by God so also where their brains stupefied by a heavenly commandment.

The vote they chose wrongly to cast was based on deep seething ethno religious bias and sentiments and it is no wonder that since that last election that ushered in the ungodly islamofascists into power , Nigeria has become more divided than ever.

Their vote was a vote to eventually end this useless country.

Them say devil go do God work e no go know. That is exactly what this Chanji rubbish represents - an end to an ungodly and blood soaked nation.

Buhari has killed, lied, slandered and threatened genocide in his desperate quest to misrule Nigeria for the blind ambitious sake of having power to further his sectional islamofascist agenda and settle his personal scores.

God has granted him his wish and God will surely show Buhari the futility of his vain ambition.

The fall from grace is usually the most painful. At his perch at the top, Buhari ought to know how far it is to the way down and his overthrow in 1985 should have made it abundantly clear how power once held but lost can be a humbling thing.

As I said ; devil go do God work without knowing.

Why is Kumuyi now commenting on politics? It doesn't add up. Pastor Kumuyi should continue his neutral stance on politics for his own good.

Because he now witnesses poverty and sufferings of unknown proportion amongst the people. He's just giving the people some glimmer of hope.

The lasting change Nigeria desperately needs is not in PMB or any other Nigerian politician. The change we need is a structural one. We must clamour for the implementation of the 2014 Confab Recommendations.

So far even PMB has done so terribly. He's confused and almost overwhelmed by the myriads of issues before him.

A 73yrs old man who was once the head of state and currently the President, your President has nothing to loose again in life. He has seen it all and have passed through the most difficult herculean situations in life. You and your ilks can hate him all you want, but believe me, no amount of hate from you fellaz will change anything in his life. Today he is in asorock probably laughing or playing with his grandchildren, so tell me, how can all these your tantrums stop him from doing any of that?

Hate is a disease that kills a man faster than even the dreaded AIDS, cure yourself of that disease called hate. Trust me, a better, stronger man is one who doesn't breed hatred in his heart. There are just more to life than hate.

Great point! Notwithstanding, we still need two things before anything.

First, a leader or leaders who is/are competent enough for the job with no questionable character...so far; Pmb is the better of all the lots

Second, we need to change our value system and our cynical attitude in this country. Too much love/respect for status and material stuffs are the root cause of our backwardness.

The structural change will follow naturally after.

Buhari has nothing to lose that I will agree with you .

He left no legacy in 1985 and was only there for power sake and nothing else.

The punishment will not come soon but until all of you are convinced of his tyranny.

This is what God has planned. When a zombie turns to a wailer. When a Sunni feels first hand the brutality metted on his Shiite neighbour; when the staunch champions of a central authority under one single tyranny begin to review their views on decentralization and a revamp of institutions over indivuals.

It won't come soon. Because that is what God wants. And it won't end when your eyes are open but only when the suffering draws you to the heaven begging to free you from this tyrant.

Buhari has no respect for institutions in Nigeria and he has made it abundantly clear with his statements and actions directed towards the judiciary and legislative.

He will resist any and all constitutional means to remove him from office and come 2019 he will be the only candidate seeking election as president.

This is what will happen.

Nothing is more nauseating to me than seeing PMB and INTEGRITY captured in a sentence. His mouthed integrity is is a ruse and hot air.

The value system won't change until we change the structure. It's game that necessitates the rules, NOT the other way round.

Sorry but you are putting the cart before the horse already. How would we change the structure if we only care about amassing wealth for ourselves and our generations unborn?

Okay Buhari is not perfect but he is not a thief. And you know what the flock need is not a leader that tolerates corruption but one that is bold enough to condemn it for their own good.
You dont speak low of such kinds of people.

Buhari has partly restored my hope in this country. I can't overlook someone with strong intention to end an abnormally. So far, we are correcting the mess of pdp but the most important, is that we are moving forward with clean hands.

The 1999 constitution was drawn by Abacha and was just a glossary review of the military drawn 1979 constitution that puts powers in the hand of a centralized govt with the President (an individual ) at its core.

With a Buhari presidency we can clearly see how human factor can seriously cause significant damage to our democracy.

Buhari has proven by his tyrannical ways that the powers of the President ought to be pruned drastically and power should be decentralized to regions and not held at the centre.

The only solution to Nigeria is to review our constitution and check the executive excesses that it confers on one indivual - the President.

The mess of pdp??... He's correcting the mess of pdp by hobnobing with same people who were in PDP all these while. Look at Obasanjo, Wasn't he president for eight years, and he's one of Buhari best pals now, Look at Audu Ogbe former PDP chairman is a minister in the dullard's cabinet, Looks at Ameachi; A minister too. Almost all his henchmen are former PDP members.

Moving forward my foot, Go to the National Bureau of statistics and see for yourself how we are "moving forward". If I may ask, How have we moved forward so far?... Answer the question, No long talks please.
