According to a Twitter/IG user who shared the photos,first driverless car in Nigeria was spotted today in Lagos.He wrote......

'Saw it live today, the first #driverless car in Nigeria. Did you? Not to worry if you didnt, its coming to #Techplus2016'.

For the car to be accepted in naija...The car suppose cheap ooo... must run on water or gas.. Then Danfo drivers must be put into consideration...

Doesn't make sense to me. The image-processing software in self-driven cars detects lane stripes, stop lights and road signs which help in its decisions but we lack those in most of our roads.

As an aside, how do you arrive at the conclusion that the car is driverless? U know weda winch dey drive am secretly?

It belongs to a friend of mine. It is not driverless as you may think of. Someone must handle the steering but may operate itself just for few metres without a driver but not to drive like from Oshodi to Ikeja or Sango
