I think, they have to investigate allegations of bribery because you do not have to be blind to see that Awoniyi and Junior can not give you a medal. That defense can not win you a medal.. There is no reason why we should go into a tournament with Awoniyi and Junior that do not pose a goal threat... Are we going to be relying on penalties and individual brilliance from Etebor at the Olympics? |

Even with Iheanacho, Success, Iwobi and Simon Moses not available..... (remember Siasia didn't even include Success in his latest 35 man list....), Nigeria still has quality options but Siasia refused to call them up.... I need not name them..... Let's hope the additions of Mikel Obi, Omeruo, Ndidi, Ighalo, Musa Mohammed, Kingsley Madu, Troost Ekong, Imoh Ezekiel and Sadiq Umar (based on players more than likely to be available for Final selection to Rio) make the team thick and one to reckon with in Rio. |

Siasia has been given the best preparation for this tournament.. Quality friendlies... The team is getting worse.. Awoniyi has no confidence. Junior is not a threat.. With Chikatara, Samuel and Success.. We would have had more of a goal threat... NFF can still convince clubs to release Iwobi and simon moses.. In 1996, Brazil got Ronaldo, Carlos and Rivaldo released... Nigeria can get key players released with proper negotiations.. Make some concessions for Fifa windows during the season. 1 Like |
