I just read your 1st post and I will advise you to avoid chicago POE. Wht I deduced is you got your visa last year, you have never used it and now you want to use it for birthing. I also noticed you sent in change of intent letter (which has been watered down to its elements from abuse and overuse).

The CBP officers there have a way of twisting situations to give new meaning to your intentions. Infact, one will be shocked with the kind of allegations they can cook up. They have one of the highest records of returning pregnant moms, even higher than Houston. If you got a medical visa, then one can risk it. Anyways, it's my two cents. I can only advise, apparently you got your mind made up already.

My bestie's BIL was narrating to her his POE experience over the phone. He traveled 2days ago with his 1yr old son to join his wife who just had a baby. The CBP officer was threatening to deport him and his son cos according to them his wife did not declare her intentions to give birth when she was issued the Visa and she was already pregnant...... She actually got the Visa without declaring pregnancy, travelled some months before her birthing trip to 'fulfil' the purpose of the visa then travelled for child birth. The man and his son were held for 4.5hours with threats of cancelling all their visas and sending them back to Nigeria...... and were stamped in after serious kabashing by the guy.

Option A Deny intent and apply
- you do all manner to not appear like you're pregnant. Even praying all sorts
- You finally get the visa and then you're back to finding ways to bypass CBP questions
-you are tense and asking forum guys how to go about it. Fasting praying even more than when you were initially simply because you are didn't declare intent
-then you start considering sending change of intent letter or spending more money by taking a trip before you give birth so that you justify going for birth later. Additional expense sef
- in the case of you even bypassing cbp et al
you are still nervous about returning to the US in case they find out you gave birth without initially declaring intent. There is still fear that you may be denied or banned for misrepresentation

Option B Declare primary intent and apply

- you apply with intent clear and even if you are refused all you have lost is visa application fee.
- if you are given you can travel no hiding pregnancy no need to be tense . Cos honesty is easier to keep up with.

My point?
If you want to apply and not declare intent because you are afraid of denial smh Even if you get the visa the fears just increase oh

People just need to avoid replying PMs from strangers through their inbox.

If somebody you don't know sends you a PM reply that person through his or her nairaland profile so as not to give a way your email address and real name.

I receive a lot on daily bases only a few are genuine the rest are scammers trying hopelessly to get hold of my details.


Another way is what you mentioned above..add the email address to your junk folder and delete them when you have time
