These phones used to be a symbol of ‘I have arrived’ back then, but these days they have become ‘extinct’ These phones used to portray wealth back in the early 2000’s before the creation of smartphones and android and IOS. Before bluetooth became popular, infrared was the ‘real deal’ for transferring files from one device to another. You were a ‘big boy/girl’ if you owned one of these phones, and probably had a couple of people wanting to be friends with you or in a relationship with you. Times have changed and nearly everybody has left the JAVA/Symbian era when phones had either blue or green screen backlights, to the Android/IOS era when screens and wallpapers are more colourful. https://www.naij.com/880941-whatever-happened-phones-photos.html Here are some of those phones that made our day but are no longer in use: 1. Nokia 3310: The Nokia 3310 was one of the old and expensive phones that sold extremely well worlwide. The Nokia 3310 had four games: Pairs II, Space Impact, Bantumi, and the hugely popular Snake II. The Snake series of games is still popular on some Nokia handsets. 36 Likes 2 Shares

2. Panasonic: Panasonic used to sell mobile phones across the world until December 2015, but had to step away from the global market due to low sales. It used to be some people’s best phone then. 8 Likes 2 Shares

5. Motorola: Motorola designed and sold wireless network equipment such as cellular transmission base stations and signal amplifiers. Motorola moved from making normal phones to making flip phones and thus became the toast of their era. The Alcatel phone is too gorgeous. I wouldn't mind using it today especially with so long a battery life. Still looking for an iPhone which lasts longer than six hours. 3 Likes |
