I have been dating this girl for five years now and we love each other so much. i have been to her parents house and they like me to the level of making me part of their family.

The problem now is that my parents simply dont like this girl because she is catholic, she wears earrings, golds and trouser. they have warned me never to marry her but they dnt knw her inner mind. this girl is beautiful inside with a good character. she can also cook and satisfy sexually.

i want to marry this girl but i dnt knw how to convince my parents especially my mum.

pls any matured advice will do.

U dont need to convince anybody. Your parents only chose to remain followers of that deceitful church. Was it not the same yeye deeper life where they didn't allow members to have TVs in thier homes (meanwhile Kumuyi has DSTV at home). Recently the same pastor Kumuyi told them that they can now have TVs at home, and everybody is shouting 'praise the Lord'. What about those in diaspora that marry women their family in Nigeria never met let alone approving or disapproving the marriage. Follow your heart. This is not nollywood where parents dictate your future.

Hmm I think you have tasted her, for you to know how good sexually.
Anyway that's by the way, you caused it all, you are the bridge between your parent and her, you ought to have told her all what your parent doesn't like. So when she is coming for visit you prep her. she wears a long skirt, fully cover her head, no painting of lips,no earring., no attachment, a big bible in her bag to be conspicuously noticed,
Anyway things never spoil too much, she can start doing all this. Tell them you've changed her to deeper life even before marriage and see how they will fall for.

But wait a minute if you eventually marry her please know It is what you wanted and you live with everything

Better make a decision based on how YOU feel about her, a decision that satisfies YOU. But, be prepared of the horror you two will endure from your parents.

get your facts right, pastor kumuyi only preached on the danger of having tvs in homes because of explicit contents that could be shown at anytime during advertisements, movies etc. Those that took it personal decided not to have it at all, even though the same church evangelised with selected movies on tvs or projectors. There was no time any anouncement was made that people should have tvs in their homes. People just upgraded themselves as church began broadcast of messages on tv. Some of those that decided not to have initially probably didn't consider the merits
