it is sad that the nigerian army which use to command a great deal of respect from the public is fast going down the way of their colleagues who make us believe they are our friends.. on my way to phc from owerri just at the last check point before the airport junction theyare busy collecting money from the drivers.. the vehicle driver which i boarded refused to give the 100 so every body in the bus was asked to come down for a search. each individual was asked to offload his luggage and empty it..i observed that girls were mostly searched . one particular lady was asked to bring out her clothes in the bag one after the other which she did.even her used inner wears were displayed in the name of search just to humiliate her simply bc she complained of been in a haste.. after the first search we were asked to pack our clothes only for another soldier to come and order for another round of search... we were made to spend almost an hour for the said offence committed by the vehicle driver... deep inside me i was boiling with anger but i decided to remain calm...please lets us put a human face while doing our our job, evry one has a duty to restore the lost glory of the country.

It happens. Even in developed countries, there are corrupt cops. You can notice one person's name or identity, then call a radio station to explain what happened...

I has happened to me, the driver I was in his car refused to pay so we were delayed for several minutes in the name of search I advised every other person to remain calm and obey.
Finally when we were asked to go I recognized one of the senior officer and after exchanging pleasantries, he asked us to go so I purposely dipped my hand in my pocket and gave him N1k for drink. The other officer who wasted his own tym (not mine) almost fainted.
