DrWise:
The Incorruptible Judge - Ola Rotimi
The Concubine - Elechi Amadi
Arrow of God - Chinua Achebe
Animal Farm - George Orwell
The Village boy

This is Our Chance - James Ene Henshaw

I remember one funny character - Bambulu with his big big grammar.

Are you sure Prof Ola Rotimi wrote Incorruptible Judge? I think one Adegoke wrote the book.

This was the first ever novel i read on my own without being told to do so by any teacher or adult. The book change my reading life forever, It helped widened up my imagination. I got into the book that I skipped meals most times

I burrowed the book playfully from my friend Ismaila and till date i never returned it grin

Those books were the best, man! I learnt reading with Ralia, the sugar girl. Then after, I read every book I came across. I read the Dark Child by C. M Laye in primary school. King Solomon's Mines is one book I'll never forget. If there is anyway I'd get it, someone, please, tell me.

But all sha, I thank my mom. God bless her. She showed me all. Btw, I'm just 19. Not everyone of this generation isn't sound.
King Solomon's mines is available. Place your order via this link http://www.bookstomydoor.com/product/king-solomons-mines/

good old days, even foreign texts complimented the readings with such books like Animal Farm, Oliver Twist, Treasure Islands, 1984, Robinson Cruseo, Gulliver's Travel, Murder in the Cathedral, Silas Manner, The Mayor of Casterbridge etc even the popular Willim Shakespare's books like Julius Ceaser, Mcbeth, Hamleth, Othelo, A Mid-Summer Night's Dream, King Lear, The Tempest, Much Ado About Nothing,, The Taming of the Shrew, The Merchant of Venice, etc

I thought about "Sizwe Bansi Is Dead" but it is not a Nigerian book. I have read it back to back and I enjoyed it. Especially, the case of Dhlamini that owns a funeral parlour wink
