It should be noted that the Angolan government has made closing of all mosques a priority. The only two mosques located in Luanda have already received a warning document signed by the mayor of the municipality of Viana José Moreno.
95% of Angola’s population is Christian. A quarter belongs to Protestant churches founded during the colonial period, including congregational evangelical church.
This decisive action taken by the Angolan head of state is based on a desire to guard against the rise of the Wahhabi ideology that has created havoc, death and destruction in Africa and elsewhere.

Angola stand is certainly a subjective interpretation and mono-causal prescription of solutions to world events. There's nothing that says, for example, that the outlawing of Islam in Angolan would mean an end to war and insurgency. Liberia, for example experienced war despite a high christian religion population index.

But recent world Islamic radicalization and terrorism index watch findings show that Angola could have a point.

When GAmbia nationalized Islam as the national religion along with all the attendant restrictions and implications that'd come with it for other 'Faiths'; what could anyone say.

Nothing justifies religious intolerance and, in this modern Age, proselytizing must be done in humane ways.

You are a representative of your religion. Your religion is not only an institution but also an established Brand that you are a flag bearer of.
