men jux dey para,CIC jux dey make some Gs dey fume..all thesame its all about to calm the tension,if you take a look at past threads, there is always a moment like this when CIC feels like increasing tension by no response to any1,an argument from nowhere heats up the forum and people go dy para upandan @ACRAYO we no dy fight cos we fit still meet for canada either at a bar, hustling point, hotspot.there is no secret behind my acct @justice blocked my old acct and i had a new 1 in june.if you read my posts on my profile you would see i applied in may and still waiting on cic too like every other person here wey dey para but the follow up on bbm and twitter i cant interpret the outcome so to be safe i had to block and decline the already accepted invite. to every1 one here after the drama,arguments,tension,heat..we will still share our testimonies.in essence do the right thing 1st and pray to God to finish the last for you, that is when prayer works! merci beaucoup!!! opeyemi87babe:Since you're already in Canada, it will better you call CIC Customer Service on 18882422100. But you should act fast (if possible) before the completion of your program. |

Nadia94: Hi Nadia, Form A transactions are called Trade invisibles and they are still being done. School fees payment paid to the school and living expenses paid directly in to a student's account fall within this category The only issue here is that the rates and availability of FX is dependent on the interbank market as opposed to the CBN, as before. So what I'm trying to say is that banks, especially the FXPD's (foreign exchange primary dealers) still engage in these transactions, but at a rate predetermined by the interbank market. So different banks with different rates, and different processes. So, Try out to inquire about Trade invisibles from banks. It's not among the banned items so I'm very certain that banks still do it, just at the interbank rate for that day, determined by availability of FX. I know Access did formA for about N300:1USD last week. The good thing is that you don't have to wait for a whole week as in the past, for the banks to send these Trade invisible items to CBN, they just debit and remit next day, if funds are available. (Tho CBN intervenes from time to time, but that's without the knowledge of the customer) Hope this calms you down. Cheers. 7 Likes 2 Shares |
