Many have a different picture. They think say once they enter JFK, automatically they go receive credit alert.. your account has been credited with $50,000. Man u gat to work it out real hard wherever you are. Even if Australia, without hardwork u will sleep on the streets, man. Life comes with options.

Lemme ask you Same question in another way, why did people choose to come to Lagos to work over other states? If you can get answer to this question then you almost close to the answer to your own question

I know you mean to say opportunities but then US in this context has already tied the legal opportunites in this aspect.
Other english speaking destination except UK, have clear cut route to settlement and longer graduate work permit durations after studies though nothing is guaranteed but they are there.

The one drving me nuts now is that F1 student cannot legally work off campus, i dont know about you but im a law abiding citizens who intends to achieve his goals within the tents of the provided law.
How the hell do you tell international students not to work off campus after paying such huge amount for money. And then 12months after they should be on there way back home?

Bros even Germany gives 20hrs per week and 40hrs on academic breaks.

I agree with you that is is one thing the US doesn't have ..However English speaking destination i can only think of two Canada and Australia since you said except UK ?

Or do you know of any others outside of those two for English speaking......me i want to learn .

There are many reasons why people ask questions.
I wanted to apply to Australia but my family and sponsor wanted US, so i have applied for schools in both countries. My i20 for SNHU should be out soon thats why i started looking at the F1 visa restriction and capabolities .

Good day brothers and sisters, hardest decision in my life at 20!, I got 3 graduate pathway offers @ Marshall university,
University of Alabama
And Oregon university
I am in love with Marshall university due to its course was my dream (master in safety) and I will do better in that field but am scared of the state called west Virginia... the poorest state base on internet research, kindly advice even though Form A is being processed for deposit payment, I will like to know if anyone has been to that state (scares me when I learnt it's 79% white, racist and all that lack of part time job and lonely life it offers) pls I don't want to go where I will stay and my papa and mama will be wondering if na America I dey?

I need to answer this next. It baffles me when people started citing racism as a determining factor. I lived and schooled in NM where 82.5% are whites and 2.6% Blacks or African Americans for 2 years. Whites don't bite, learn to live with them. Leave racism for U.S government to deal with. Please don't say this at the interview. Have other cogent reasons for choosing other states if you don't like WV.

Also, if anyone told you part time job should be your reason for schooling in a state, you need to snub such person. If you're caught jobbing as a student outside school without DHS authorization, you just jeopardized your student visa. The best place you can get a great deal for your parent's money without break the bank is those parts you're running from.

Triggeredsam:
Has any body heard of West Virginia before in this forum.... more to talk of Marshall university, am going there to study but at least won't on be doing some odd job outside campus, I stalked the Facebook page of African student organization of the Marshall university as adviced but umunna no body wan talk to me, that place na burial grand Why no body they talk of there...

Abeg without Grant, cos am going in with pathways to msc, 4months costing 13kusd how man go take cover up, fear dey blow my yansh even if the visa is granted...
Advice pls my cpga isn't that cool (2.98) no sat or gre or GMAT or any exam, how do I Change to a more city-tionalized area if -change- dey dea haahahah

You have funding constraint but you would like to school in a "more city-tionalized area". Ok ooo. Come NYC come study, then you go no say struggling no be moin moin and Jesus no dey get tribal mark. WV is a nice state. I have 2 friends that just graduated from WVU. Square65 another pioneer member of this thread got his PhD from WVU in May. Him, his wife and daughter are living comfortably in the state for now. The county you're going to school is what matters. Lastly, I don't see anything spectacular about AL.

Good Afternoon,

I got admission from a uni in NY, the total fee for the four semester program is about $65800, which I feel is astronomical . I have about 20m personally, I think that will cover for the first year fees and living cost.

Will it be wise to spend that amount on a Masters program ?

$65800
