It's been a while I participated on here due to work. I no longer have the time and enthusiasm for techy stuffs as I used to.... I fhink I need to make my camon c8 better and I need professional minds to put me thru and help me out here... The last thing I remember doing on my C8 was rooting it... And that was since last year... October or November... I have not been able to upgrade the phone also due to the root in place... The phone is not giving me maximum happiness as it still lags and I'm an ICT Personnel so I actually get to do more than enough on my phone(like over work it).... Now I'm seeing lots of interesting stuffs that I would love to try.. And I would love to start with the Samsung s6 custom rom. But I still have twrp installed... Pls how do I achieve it and is the Samsung Galaxy S6 custom rom stable and tested Okay for use.... I would appreciate good responses.. And sorwie for the long story... Thanks to y'all in anticipation.....

Its safe to say "AM NOT IN ANY WAY UPDATING MY TECNO C8". The crappy phone lags and i always regret buying it despite the good reviews from MissTechy. This is the last tecno phone am buying... Thank u

Bro. I'm using Camon C8 and 6.0 Marshmallow. there is no bug only just that the Multitasking problem is still there. that is just my problem. and I had a problem with my battery in my lollipop version and people kept on telling me to calibrate the battery, I did it a million times but didn't work so I updated it to marshmallow and the problem is still there. well now I think I'm gonna calibrate.

You used another charger, right? It happened to my phone last month.

The thing I did was to take the phone to a repairer, he removed the battery and fixed back... That's all.

please I tried upgrading my tecno camon c8 to the marshmallow HiOS update from tecno official forum http://bbs.tecno-mobile.com/forum/HI...d-instructions
But after following the instructions and successfully installing the update I tried switching on the phone but it got stock at boot logo and kept on rebooting itself, only for me to call calcare centre in owerri to ask them if they can help me downgrade it to the lollipop OS, they were telling me they'll change motherboard for 17k.

Wetin concern changing motherboard and just simply restoring the old OS by flashing the stock rom.
Please what do I do??
