@christybabe, I had my two kids @ BMH, I had no cause for regrets, I saw how they treated people who were not progressing at some point. They have experienced hands, they know what to do when things seems to be going wrong. Although we all pray for supernatural delivery. Having a tear doesn't mean they don't mean well for you, in all its to aid the passage for the baby. Am not a fan of maternity homes sha, pls stick with BMH, have an open mind. All the best.

I feel tingles on d bobbis when I look, I see the dark part is becoming fuller like I have a big nip.ple
Right now, I can hold all the aerola and it's hard.
After I used cotton wool n olive oil to clean last night I saw a little discharge on d aerola (not nip.ple mouth o)
Please is it normal or should I stop stimulating the bobbis?

Mamas i don come again o, after a long silence, i know, meeeehhhn ds business is not easy o. Mamas will recall wen i was begging 4 ms, but now i knw beta...not severe o but d little sef no gud 4 my bodi ataalll. I gag wen i brush, tke drugs, drink water or even type on ds phone, threw up a couple of times too. Sha dese days i feel better and 2day is day 2 of my 12th week, yeeepee, i feel human again!
@convenantbabies i feel u on d issue of too much drug prescriptions. i will say moderation is key dear, try endure or substitute some treatments with natural therapies. Its all part of the package, i hv dropped alot of unnecessary drugs because evn the thought of taking dem makes me puke, seriously! N i even changed my prenatal vitamins to syrup (how cul is dat? ).

Anyway teamies, any updates? Me don start dey receive baby's sex n names o (dat is...) as see, Okeke wife don tell me her own o. Hope we hv started or are warming up to start ANC? Go register now o.

Presently at the hospital to register for ANC. So much protocols here. I am 13weeks today. Yippee 27weeks to go....
I am so glad ms has taken a back seat but it seems heartburn wants to take over. I can't eat more than 5spoons before I begin to feel bloated and the food will just hang in my chest. Anyway this too shall pass

To d mama that once had ruptured uterus, I have someone with same experience when she was 8mths pregnant, she almost passed out but God revived her now she is a mother of 2 Gallant Soldiers (4 & 2 years handsome bobos) so relax ur mind dear, The living God that did her own is still in the business, continue to praise him for this wonderful seed he has planted in ur womb cos u will surely harvest it.

It's July Mamas.... Are you as excited as I am ? With each passing week, our dreams are getting closer to realisation. It's week 35,34,33 and 32 for us respectively. To help me serve you better, please kindly update your EDD and gender too...Have You finished shopping and packing yet ? If you are interested in porting to July ,please show by a lift of hand . Am 34weeks plus 4days today. EDD is 11th. But am seriously eyeing 1st -3rd August ooo. Team Blue, baby Ekene, still dragging his English name with hubby till now ooo. I haven't washed baby's cloth yet ooo despite the fact that i bought them last month oo. . Feeling so lazy about it...don't even know why. Thoughts of how i will iron all of them scares me too. I hate ironing . I haven't finished shopping too. DH still waiting for June salary alert.(life of a civil servant) Hoping it comes this week ooo so we finish that chapter by next week latest.

My bump wants to roll on the floor now. I dey look am. Started having cramps yersterday and am happy about it. Hoping baby has turned too cos last scan showed breech. Am still happy for the little strength the pregnancy is giving me to do little chores at home. Tho I feel serious leg pains and waist pains after market and soup making. My face is so big and ugly now erh....chai. .fine chick that I used to be...but now I have grown old . Missed antenatal today cos of public hols. Can't wait for next week tho....Am happy. ...and I thank Jah for bringing me this far...trusting in him to take me successfully to the end of this journey. ..

..sorry oooo I may sound blunt but the truth has to be told....quote me anywhere.I am not a fan of maternity home and WILL NEVER BE....in this age of awaerness, and technology why on earth will maternity home be an option.pls pls pls I beg u in the name of God locate BMH....I don't know much about the hospital but from reference made here it is OK.I had my son in teaching hospital in uyo,I was d one that opted for induction,my induction failed,I dilated 10cm,yet my baby's head could not even engage.after being in labour a whole day,I was rushed for emergency cs meanwhile I and baby had become weak.what if it was at a maternity,both of us would have been gone.a friend had her baby through emergency cs too,hers was DAT cord was round d baby' s neck.
pls learn from birth stories here. pple don't take time to write it for fancy.whether its your first or 50th pregnancy pls give birth in d hospital...a word is enough for d wise....#kisssss#

Meanwhile am so confused right now about where to deliver,, because I registered at 3 different hospital, I registered at BMH portharcout, and at my MIL family nurse maternity, and at another maternity.
Hubby said I won't deliver @ BMH because according to him, he has asked around and they said if you don't push in the next ten minutes they would give you a tear, and that's where av been attending ANC, then my MIL swears that her matron is the best, no doubt about the woman ooo, because I also attend her ANC too and everybody I met there said she delivers safely and I have witnesses to that... The annoying thing right now is that my hubby elder brother's wife delivered at her auntys maternity without any tear, she said that her aunty uses olive oil and is careful when delivering children, and now hubby is saying that we should check her out and I said No, I know he wants the best for me and the baby but going from one place to the other is bad. Since we have cancelled BMH, I told him that I prefer his Mother's nurse maternity because the woman is so nice and a strong Christian people has testified about her.. .. But I would have preferred BMH where they have facilities...
Pls what do you mama's think... My mum said we should stick to BMH, but my hubby insists on the maternity...

my dear i understand your dhs fear,i was so afraid of episiotomy even more than labour before i delivered, during my delivery I was even the one beging the doctor to give me a cut so my baby can come out, my cut healed in less than 4 days,infact its just the first and second day after delivery that i felt the pain, if a cut is needed for baby to come out my dear open your leg well well make dem cut am its going to minimize tears pls and pls use the hospital,since its ur first.
I was suppose to use a maternity too, i made a last minute decision to use a hospital, and am still wandering what would have happened if i didn't, to birth a 4kg baby as a first time mum,requires do much experience from the practitioners.
God will touch your dhs heart to make the right decision
