So this means the number of animals on board must have been over 20 million or even as much as 40 million!!!!

God created the firmaments and stars on the fourth day...(stars are billions of years old)
God created the animals on fifth day (with animal fossils several millions of years old)
Even man is believed to have been over 200k years old as against the 12k years u pointed out there...
