Godymn:this long public holidayS is enough for me to be lazying on this forum. any1 who re-ignites the argument shall be ready to die with me. atleast as we are waiting for pending Goodnews from CIC and since the forum is getting bored and dry, this is an avenue for silent observers to be bursting out of their tensions and also seeing something to read till CIC start dropping news to guys wey dey para. To correct my mistake cos i do admit my mistakes if i made 1,the bible didn't say but its an adage. please do what CIC says and leave the rest for GOD to handle this is when miracle will work and not tempting devil and giving yourself HBP! 3 Likes |

iykedare:bro I totally understand ur frustration and we share the same sentiment. when I used the GTBank ATM and I was charged 26k for 100CAD I was shocked to the marrow. paying the tuition would about 1.1mil difference. God would save us all. but if going to a neighboring country would yield a lower exchange rate , then it's worth it bro. but I'm not sure it's possible to get a lesser rate.. pls if possible, someone should quickly alert us on this thread. |

michV, To some extent, I see the point you're trying to make, I try to play Devil's advocate sometimes. Psalm 90:17 ESV - Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands! The Bible encourages us to put forth our best** possible application (our works) then have faith that everything will work for good. **There is no perfect application, and since God's ways are higher and his thoughts are wilder, only He can turn a relatively messed up application to a miracle. In the end, faith makes a fool of what makes sense. iykedare, NGN has more value than the CFA (XOF) so let's just focus on GHS. So let's say we've got NGN1.8m to change to USD via GHS. At official rates: Converting in Nigeria.... NGN1.8m = 6380.17 USD ---------------------------------------------------------------- Travelling to Ghana, or finding a way to transfer funds over there... NGN1.8m = 25137.88 GHS 25137.88 GHS = 6380.83 USD ---------------------------------------------------------------- Same difference with both approaches I'd say unless you're trying to change some personal allowance fees which you won't get here at official rates. 2 Likes |

relevanteism: Use the internet to do your findings FIRST. Go to the school's website, read about their courses, the faculty, call the graduate office, compare and contrast the different schools offering your desired course, check their rankings and make your own decision. One person's experience might not depict what your experience is likely to be. If you want a graduate degree, you have to be prepared to do most things by yourself with little or no guidance or supervision. Work, work, work, work, work work!!! Lol! 4 Likes 1 Share |

snowhity85:My own advise Sis, defer the admission cos you might not be allow to or won't be advisable to go for chest X-ray with pregnancy. |

Good day house, please I have a question, I paid application fee through a friend for my younger brother seeking admission in Brandon University. I sent $149CAD. The application fee is $134 while the wire transfer charge is $15. But we got a mail from the school that they received just $119. We are kinda confused here. Does it mean the bank charged us twice, cos in the scanned receipts we got from my friend in Winnipeg, one narrates "transaction amount: $134" while the other one has "transaction amount: -$15" We called the Admission office and they said once they get notification of the total sum, then they will process the Admission. Please house what could have gone wrong here? And what do we do here? |

1soul:They normally deduct $25 offshore charges, so you have to balance the remaining before they work on the application. Since it's not much why don't you ask if you can pay the balance with card |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by 1soul(m): 3:35pm On Jul 06, 2016 |
Thanks for the response. But the payment was done by a friend in Canada, in the same province(manitoba) so what is the offshore charge for? Arcayo: |

blaugrana82: Did he study a related program in his undergrad? Does he have relevant work experience in Project Management. Project Management is taken very serious in this place. The requirements for PMP alone is deep. He should try some other program. |
