It's impossible to Islamize all Yorubas. Whatever you see in Yoruba land has always been the trend over time. We have mixed populations of Christians & muslims. IF THE SOUTHWEST EVER LOSES ITS CHRISTIAN FERVOUR, THEN YOU CAN TAKE IT THAT THE CHRISTIAN FAITH HAS BECOME EXTINCT IN NIGERIA. I said this without any fear of contradiction because Christianity in the eastern region has turned to something else. I've lived in that region and am amazed at high numbers of babes and uncircumcised believers who should be enrolled in discipleship schools, parading themselves as General overseers of people of like minds. Southwest also have their own weaknesses but I think comparatively, the region can be regarded as the Jerusalem (the spiritual headquarters) of Nigeria. You guys should intensify prayers that the southwest will not lose her Christian fervour and that the church in Nigeria be fully restored and awakened against the plot of Ishmaelties.

Christ reigns and must continue to reign wherever the Sun does its successive run. Kwara state still has significant proportion of Christians. Ilorin & K wara central may be predominantly Muslims, Kwara south and some parts of Kwara north have Christians in their numbers.

No, you are wrong. The names; Abike Dabiri and Femi Gbajabiamila sounds more of a Yoruba name. How can you say they are hiding their Muslim names.

Even me too, my Yoruba names must comes first everywhere I go. My appearance(my dress, beards) will give me away that I am a Muslim and I am proud of it.

Do you the name of the newly appointed vice chancellor of OAU? His name is Taofeek Salami Ayobami, a christian, a pastor and has his own church. Is Taofeek Salami not a Muslim name?

And neither Dabiri nor Gbajabiamila bears any name that is christian-like that would make them appear as christian. But that cannot be said of that OAU vc who bears islam/muslim name.

Then, what about Yakubu Gowon and Yakubu Dogara(both christian)? Yakubu and Jacob are the same name but Yakubu is for Muslim while Jacob is for Christian. Why not Jacob Gowon and Jacob Dogara respectively. What do you think about that?

Am not from the southeast. I'm from the southwest, from the very cradle of Yoruba civilization (Osun state) & my maternal background from the political headquarters of Yoruba land i.e. Ibadan. O'odua ni mi lai l'abula ninu.
