P.S. Is it not (Chicago) "Manual of Style", not "Style of Manual" ?

Hope you find someone.

Best wishes, .. Paul.

Did you see the part where we said (negotiable, based on experience)?

I was just curious Victor as I do (have done) this kind of work from time to time, for clients in the UK; not my first choice for ‘type’ of work though. I was browsing the ‘new’ post and it caught my eye. Not to worry, .. enjoy the weekend. Best regards, ....

Paul.

What time are you looking at?

Hi,

Please can you assist with editing, creative writing, removing all prayers and personal stories/examples, formatting into a booklet, add a table of content, remove all examples both personal or generic that the lecturer uses. This is purely academic. So no examples to be included. Create subheadings, and chapters, also link chapters.

This is an 188 pages and Word count 131250 (13docs). I'll send a sample of what I expect to qualified candidates. A 3 day turnaround work to be submitted on Monday 9am prompt (Please no stories!). If you're available I can send the documents. If you can't meet the deadline. Please if you're not a perfect fit, please don't apply.

Here are the key things that I'm looking for:

1. Must be proficient with MS Word Track Changes and Comment functions

2. A good communicator. If you are going to disappear for days on end when there is work to be done, this is not going to be a good fit for you (or for me). Regular updates keep everyone on track - and more importantly, they ensure that deadlines are met.

3. An excellent command of the English language is a given - otherwise, you're going to get frustrated with me, and I'm going to get frustrated with you.

4. You must use 100% human editing No online editing tools.( I know how to use them, but choose not to)

5. Three days turnaround work to be submitted on Monday 9am prompt (Please no stories!)

6. Must give daily updates on work project to our email.

7. Good knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style

If this opportunity sounds interesting to you, I encourage you to submit a proposal convincing us why you should be given the opportunity to work on this project in just 2 Paragraph so that I can gauge your English skill level. *** When applying, please reference "Am an expert editor available to meet your deadline." somewhere in your submission. If you fail to include this text somewhere in your cover letter, your application will be immediately deleted.

Following directions is critical to the success of the work you'll be doing, and this is a minor test to ensure that you can - and will. When applying, I would appreciate it if you can let me know the following:

1. how quickly you would be able to start
2. what's your availability is on a weekly basis.
3. your Nairaland ID(s) (moniker)

Payment: N10,000 (negotiable, based on experience)

Send email to: aprofessor@naij.com
NOTE: We don't acknowledge receipt of emails, because of the large volume we do receive in our job post/our very busy schedule. We'll only contact qualified candidate for the next phase.
The deadline is choking! If we all had access to regular power supply, meeting deadlines won't be an issue.
As it is, anyone picking up this job would be relying heavily on generator to power his/her computer system.
Considering the price per litre of petrol lipsrsealed then the 10k is just pea lipsrsealed

Victor 101 and his jobs sha..

Some of us have enough experience. Can you go as high as 20,000 Naira? Three days for all that work in Nigeria at that price? It's basically going to take away your whole life. LOL

20,000# You didn't say #30,000. Plus the Chicago style isn't that easy like the APA.

For someone offering 10k as the base offer price, requesting for 30k will be getting too ahead of yourself. Don't you think?

With the deadline and quantity of work @ a high quality, I don't think 30k is too much to ask for.

"It's basically going to take away your whole life. LOL" The ones we do on those freelancing sites didn't take away our life, so I don't see why this will.
