juliet002: congrats. Lemme not be the spoiler, but do mothers still go that far to El-paso anymore. or u have any specific reasons for wanting to go there? if you say cheap, i wonder how much you have in mind. if you give an estimated budget here of what u want to spend on medical and housing, am sure some mothers here can help you find a reasonable hospital and/or accommodation. Some ppl can share a 2 bedroom and u split the bill equally. |

jacksparow: See ya mouth...Better go back to that vacation you came back from oooo .As for me ooo Hubby and I agreed that we will be sampling different states. For 1 and 2nd,We did NY,Elp and to be honest i weak to even find another place...For the kind of service and money that i got,i ready to enter flying boat go el paso if flight no dey.. Its long but its worth it for me and when the time comes,i might be going back there. I feel like people don't even bother asking anything about them here because their website is straight forward, what you see is what you get and everything there is straight forward to a certain extent and smooth...So yes ooo,we many wey still like there ooo. 1 Like |

OmoBendel24: OmoBendel24: Its sad that a forum created to help people is being dominated by 'Gurus' who where previ to good info and made the right choices but unfortunately are so judgmental about people who post sincere questions and are seeking solutions because they were advised wrongly! my advice to y'all quoted here, PLEASE, if you don't have anything solution to questions like this or any words that lead to solutions...don't comment on it, its not meant for you! 9 Likes |

Expectme:Every one can comment. if you dont like it, you can simply ignore or you rephrase the question and ask again. if they disagree with you doesnt make them right. after all not all questions get the right answer. so dont take it hard on anyone. My opinion. 15 Likes |

Hi Everyone. I am new to this thread, reading through gave me so much joy, broadening my knowledge on things to know. I am planning on using east side medical centre in atlanta for my delivery and would love anyone to please recommend a doctor pls. The doctor I got did confirm to me that they do not provide a doctors correspondence. Trust to get a feedback shortly. Tnx |

Ok maybe i am dreaming but i guess i should post this and hear what y'all will say. My bill with dr F so far: 1920 for dr fee (got 20% discount) 150 for ultrasound, 260 for test and 150 for first visit. Paid oakbend but he doesnt want me to use oakbend but accepted when i asked him to refund me. Yesterday was my appointment (not satisfied with my checkup cos its not thorough eg my first ultrasound was about d heartbeat, weight and if d baby was head down. Second to the 4th visit has been just heartbeat and always leaving the room too fast) So he told me how a woman was given epidural at 34weeks and she is still pregnant. That they have unqualified nurses. I asked him if i can use St Luke he said its full that i sud get my refund and wait for labour to start but he will find out if i can use St luke. So i left to get my refund from Alice. Told Alice (off record) the lady given epidural and all but she said its not possible for anyone to give medications without doctor's approval and she is surprised that he's moving his patients. I got hold of a Nairalander who saw him on Tuesday and asked her y she hadnt registered with st Luke, saw me on Wednesday and said they r full the lady went today and said approval comes from dr F but they u can still register after calling them to book appointment. Last week my DH was like i should change my doctor but when i asked for my refund from dr F it was 1830 they were offering to pay back after 3 appointment. Please lemme know y'all thoughts cos i cant think again |

@greatie, Me too have observed he is referring us to st Luke!!. Went to see him today and he kept repeating st Luke even after I told him that I wanted Houston Methodist!! Am not happy with him at all. I did 5 out of those tests and he charged$260 too!. So is that his New lab price? So wanted to go to Houston Methodist hospital to pay after his appointment and he told me to wait for hm to confirm st Luke? Wat konsan me? Ohh I heard he has contract with st Luke so that's why. Just like he did with oakbend. |

Hello , confuse at what is going on with Dr F, a friend paid for oakbend to use Dr F, when it was time for delivery Dr F sent her to Methodist to one of his doctor's. Can imagine how one feels being referred to a Doctor you have not met . Have switched to Dr Dama this evening seeing this post. Thank you all for this forum . |

ijeomaobi1: U can imagine. That means we r placed on "class of patients " I sud go to Methodist while u go to St luke... Hmmm. My host is saying i sud stay in oakbend no more back and forth. |

Congratulations sugah, So I'd they discount Ur Bill na bad thing? Haba, isn't that the benefit of self-pay again? @greatie, I paid today o, and really don't have any doctor in mind. I kinda like Methodist so might stick to it. Abi anyone with an affiliated doctor to Houston Methodist? 1 Like |

temyb: You can do it in Houston. Note you can't apply without the babies present but you can pick without them. So you have to wait till there are OK .I support the move to Houston where you have someone ( hope they are willing to help) to drive to place and share the burden with. The Lord is your strength. Hold on its almosttttt over 2 Likes |

klemboy: I had my baby at eastside medical center 4 days ago. You can call the hospital for them to give you a list of the obgyns affiliated with them and do your research. In the meantime, search for Gwinnett obgyn and st Theresas obgyn and follow up. |
