What's the moniker of that person that even accused "us" of whatever wrong the other day? Hopefully, he/she is seeing all of these now and hiding behind the curtains! No qualms.

What has the UK application got to do with the US, and even with this thread that merits this absurdity? SMH

Good day house
I'm a graduate of soil science and land management presently working in a greenhouse however my sister wanted me to travel to US for work and other patrol
the man that will be helping me with the processing is a resident in US,he said he is going to say I'm a worker in his firm in Nigeria (Atlas copco:construction and engineering firm) and they seek expansion et al that's why they need me also he said there will be communication between his firm and US embassy...
PS; my fear is that I have no travel history but fund to pursue the travel is available
Ist. You need to understand that H visa (work visa) is different from B visa.
From what you described, you should be applying for a work visa . And wht people have been trying to tell you is tht , its a pretty difficult visa to get because you have to convince the vos that nobody else in the us can do that job.
If you want to apply for a B (visit) visa on the other hand, you need to establish home ties. For definition of home ties, browse this thread and/or watch the video at the begining of this thread

Hi Beautiful peeps of Zamunda. Sorry Nairaland.

A friend asked me, he stated October as his travel date in his DS160, he needs to know if he could travel at an earlier date. Tickets availability being the toast here.

Your replies will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

' A visa is a time frame within which he can knock on the door of America' loosely quoted from VO's interview.
So 1. Does he have a valid visa?
2. Does he have a valid reason to travel to the US?
If yes then he can go to the us at anytime within the validity of the visa. The cbps however always reserve the right to grant or deny admission. The mere fact that he didn't travel exactly when he said he would alone is not an issue. I have never travelled oon my ds 160 filled date

Bros seriously I'm not angry at all it's misunderstand... The problem here is that you said you're going for work and other parol and that a U.S resident is assisting you with the processing. Why not go for a normal conference and return to Nigeria.

If he got the visa for conference, seminar or workshop and there's a fix date it will be a little difficult traveling before the conference date unless you have a genuine reason for traveling to the U.S earlier

He's on B1/B2 vis type. He feel he could get a good ticket bargain before they stipulated time frame. T the reason for the question.

In all, I appreciate your reply. You have been helpful.

So now you see?
Your intention is to go thru visit visa and not return. That is a crime and as such we cannot help you.
Some people might interpret that to 'not been helpful' but it is what it is.
Good luck in your search

Heads up... Flying from Cote D'Ivoire(Abj) to JFK is as expensive as traveling from Lagos(Los). If you have to book any flight to JFK do it a month and few days to your travel date. I believe you will get something within N350K-N400K mind you it will start going down as from Middle of September to early December and it will surge in mid decemeber till 2nd week of January 2017 and go down till March 2017.
