for now, UNIPORT does not do direct entry.

I was offered two photo cards,one of them was printed with my passport in it, while the other one is without a passport and I had to attach a passport to it.

You have to bring proof that you are awaiting result, such proof can be the examination slip that shows you registered for the examination, it could also include the photoalbum showing that you registered for the examination.

I wrote SSCE in 2013 but I haven't gotten my Original WAEC Cert, I only have my online statement of result. I hope it won't be a problem on the screening day?

it won't, just print a colored copy of the online statement and staple the access card used at the back.

Lmaoo...I knew un I port was going to cancel it postpone.... They just wanted to extort money from us fast before govt acts.....govt announced today that all universities should refund post utme fees

Minister of Education Orders All Universities to Refund Post-UTME Fees

Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu has directed all tertiary institutions that have conducted post-UTME examination to immediately refund money taken from candidates.


The minister has also declared that post-UTME examinations already taken are null and void; threatening that any institution caught still conducting the examination under any guise would be sanctioned.



The minister made this position known in a press statement issued by Deputy Director Press and Public Relations, Ben Bem Goong. The strong-worded statement reiterated the Ministry’s position that post-UTME examinations have been cancelled with immediate effect and no institution should conduct such examinations. The minister warned that once the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has certified a candidate worthy of admission into any of the tertiary institutions, that candidate must be deemed fit by the institution.

According to the statement, students who have already been offered admission by JAMB may be screened by the institutions but this must not involve the conduct of any other entry examination. The candidates can be screened by verifying their certificates but not through the conduct of examinations.

The minister stated that it is unnecessary to subject students to further examinations when they have been offered examinations by JAMB since they will still have to go through between eight or 12-semester examinations throughout their four to six years study in the institutions.

The minister, therefore, directed the National Universities Commission (NUC) and appropriate departments in the Ministry to communicate the directive to relevant agencies and institutions to ensure strict compliance...

UNIPORT RESUMES ADMISSION SCREENING EXERCISE FOR 2016/2017 SESSION In respect of the above subject, this is to inform you that the University Management has directed as follows: 1. Friday, 26th August to mid-night on Sunday, 4th September, 2016: Re-opening of the Portal for online registration 2. Wednesday, 7th to Friday, 9th September, 2016: Screening Exercise in the College of Health Sciences and respective Faculties/ School (the respective venues will be published on the University website in due course and via sms to candidates) 3. Documents Needed for Screening Exercise: (i) A clear copy of the Photo card printed online (ii) JAMB Result print out (iii) Original and photocopies of O'Level Examinations Certificate(s) (WASCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB) Examination Slips for Candidates awaiting results (iv) Original and Photocopies of Birth Certificate/Age Declaration Candidates should note that Inconsistency in name or picture on Photo Card will not be acceptable to the University and may lead to disqualification of affected candidates.
