I see.
Its better to be open and honest than delete a post in the name of abiding by rules. Cos the so-called offender would innocently still do same without knowing why previous post were cancelled.
Whats actually different from my mentioning a hospital in Fort Wort from others who mention hospitals in Inova med center Maryland, Houston methodist Sugarland, St Francis LA, etc etc
Whats different from my mentioning the price breakdown I got on inquiry from the ones previously mentioned here? including all posts in d spirit of giving back? Im not an agent and nonbody sent me to do any advert. Whoever finds my info needful will still make d necessary calls - and yes I repeat its gonna be a long call with many transfers. I didnt even share phone numbers and you say its an ad.
I truly dont gerrit!
Its obvious this thread is being run like a high skl clique and sorry I don't have any clique. I admire d work everyone is doing with sharing information but lets show some finesse and civility while doing it.

Ekene kwee m ghu! ( I greet u wella)

justwise:

Madam tell the hospital you are indirectly doing ad for to come and advertise here just like two agencies are doing now.

Its not fair that other agencies are paying to place an ad here while other are getting in-thread ad for free.

Please lets not forget that It cost the owner a lot to maintain nairaland and pay his programmers and others who work for him.

Hubby and I are speechless.
I still believe in miracles. God can do the impossible; trust Him.
We once prayed for something so bad and asked God to make us say "Wow!" - and He did it.
All the best dear.

temyb:

My babies bill in the NICU for now oooo, until they leave. A big Amen to that prayer,it's that peace that is needed. Until they are discharged before I would know what it would be the total.
The song that came to my mind when I saw it was O God my my help in ages past.............,it is well but above all seeing my girls grow everyday is joy unspeakable for me,my bundles of joy are my strength oooo

Dear All,

Please i need your advise.

Wifey and I just recently got our visas renewed via dropbox however due to recent discovery, we are changing our stated destination from Milwaukee Wisconsin to Houston Texas.....and the clarification i seek goes thus:-

(1) Is there any issue that can arise at the POE owing to this?
(2) What is the best way to avoid any drama, can we explore the option of contacting the embassy and seek for assistance?
(3) Has anybody here experience this and how was it sorted?

regards.
Pls I need a good & affordable hospital in milwaukee. Can you give me the details of the one you used. I'm currently in the state. Thanks

I thought to share my own 'small' testimony. After discovering an Ohio hospital for 6500$ all inclusive for c-section, I v family in New York. Our plan was to always drive the 3 hours plus journey from New York to Ohio on our appointment dates as New York prices can kill a faint heart. God had his own plans. 15 month old daughter fell ill and we felt it wont be healthy moving her around. Na so we decide to just close eye chose one of the nearby hospitals. Mehn, we got quotes from 15k for hospital alone and all. We finally settled for one and believed God and still believing God that he is in charge. Doctor charged 2200, I asked for discount as its the same fee paid by people that register from day 1 but the billing person said no further discount. After paying 130$ for ultrasound, they said i have to do HIV test. I reach the test place this Wednesday they quoted 120$, I use shock comot from the place without doing the test, hiv test we do for 1k in naija. I got to the doctor same day for my appointment, spoke to the doctor i met about my fees, she advised me to speak to the manager of the billing department. On getting to the manager, she said I should hold on let her see what my total is before we start, that's how she said my total bill is 1580 plus the ultrasound bill. I had paid 1500 already, I quickly paid the remaining 80$. On to the epidural people, I called and they said their discounted price is 2200 for c-section, only to call me back to say it's 3k and not 2200, this was yesterday and am scheduled for delivery in few days time. That's how I started calling to see how I can change my hospital and all. At the end, it seemed like no way. Na I'm i played a praise song on my phone and danced to God for 20 minutes while telling God that we won't pay more than 1k for the epidural. After I stopped dancing, I received a call back from the manager asking me how much the other epidural guys in other hospital quoted for me, I said 800, na I'm dey say alright bring the 800$ but u v to pay before you deliver. In all, only God can do it. Am still believing God for same favor with the hospital, we have told God how much we want to pay. Please darling, I encourage you to try your God this period. He will definitely come through for u and for us all. Sorry for the long post

I prayed and said Lord I don't want an episiotomy, pls return my vagina to its prebirth state. I want to enjoy my husband sexually and I also want him to enjoy me before and after delivery. Help my body heal fast both internally and externally. Mind you I started these prayers early. Just as I was praying for my foetus.

Never thought about that aspect ... Thanks a lot

I didn't stay around Lynwood but I was also informed it's a gangster area. Mr. Fred into estate told me he would never get the place for anyone even if the person requests. It's black dominated and not safe. There is a park behind St. Francis and I observed while there with my daughter that loads of black stay in that area.

U can get somewhere else or stay there and be safe and careful.

I decided to give birth at St Francis in Lynwood but when we shared this with a friend, he warned us that this is gang territory and not safe and that we should stay away from there. I would like to ask anyone familiar with the area to shed some light on this especially the mummies who have given birth there. Pls Sweetuzy01, OMary83, MamaTobenna, Bisoye82 and sppecie what was your experience like? Did you stay near the hospital? Thanks[/quote]
