Seriously, last two weeks i went back to my former ways of life. Enjoying my freedom from religious principles only to be obstructed by my mum. she said to me "Remember Church tomorrow" like WTF!!! when will i get a job and be free from this mummy-ish bondage.

I hate my church and my church hates me. As a typical phlegmatic i am a humble person, no room for nonsense and yeah i do hear from God. my church people dnt care about me and these qualities but only their own well being. i have been wearing one shirt to church for over a month now and nobody gives a fvck.

And yet again tomorrow am gonna wear the same shirt waiting for a self righteous person to give me a new shirt.... i will just burn it to pieces... as if it is a shirt am looking for GIVE ME A JOB!!!!! Damn!!

Church has nothing meaningful to offer, but people like 4evergod2 and Muafrika2 will not let it go. Goddys the false prophet too will do everything to make sure church doctrines are forced on people's throats.

Well... only one thing the real God will appreciate the most. That is using the brain to achieve great things and doing good to your fellow men.

Gradually more people will be getting tired of going to church which has nothing practically good to offer.

This is the result of forcing children to church over the years by Nigerian parents.They think they are raising up their kids in godly way.No taking your kids to church is just one out of many things to do in raising godly children.
Number one is teaching them how to come into a relationship with God and how to walk with him in unwavering faith,with these you don't have to force them to pray,read the Bible or go to church,it will be a natural occurrence to them,they will have joy doing it,they will be spiritual not religious.

@OP, I am very sorry about what you are going through, I know it is not easy!!! Can I tell you a secret?...................................Your number 6, is your only redemption, cause the church is not a symbol of salvation, BUT A CITY OF STARVATION!!!

You need to lower your expectations of your church. Unless its a congregation of HOLY Angels, You say you hear from God, so why is the church on such a high pedestal in your eyes that you are looking up to those people for your life to be better? It's God first, then YOU, then the fellowship.
