Actually, we started in august 2015 with block moulding. We saw hell. Will never advice anyone to mould during this period . We lost over 40bags of cement due to rain.
Total of 100bags was bought at 1780, 10 trips of sand at 11500 per trip, a bag was 700 to mould at 35 pcs per bag.

the target was to get over 3500 blocks that would cover upto the decking level.
The project took off easily cos it was in an already habitant compund, . Although little site clearing was carried out. 2 palm trees nd kolanut tree was brought down at 3k each and chain sawed at 4k

Nigerians should begin to learn.

This type of 'large' building is only good/fun when the owner is young and the children are teenagers.
After few years, maintenance will be hell.
No child will surely be with them in few years.
Climbing staircase becomes headache.

Solution.
There should be a plan to build a two bedroom bungalow to retire to.
