Cops and kids are playing Pokémon Go together in the streets, local businesses are tailoring their marketing around Pokémon Go, and self-professed socially awkward gamers are making new friends by the dozen. Walk around any neighborhood in America, and it’s clear that Pokémon Go is enormously popular and having a massive social impact. How massive, though? Data published today by SimilarWeb indicates that the mobile game is poised to surpass Twitter in daily active users on Android.

Na you dey talk like this. Nawa for u oooo. I trust you know that app launches are not spontaneous. #BlackLivesMatter coincided with PokemonGo's launch and not the other way round. When a 100 people were killed in an Orlando club, E3 still held and trended. It's just an app launch and not a propaganda to belittle black lives.

Let me get this. Some powerful people had Nintendo set a release date for PokemonGo. Then, around the release period they organised a series of attacks on black people and then launched an app about imaginary monsters to overshadow the attacks on black people. There's probably a conspiracy but please leave an entertainment app out of it. Maybe when black people are repeatedly murdered before video game releases, then I may start panicking but for now, let coincidence remain coincidence.

This has nothing to do with gaming,like you already know im a gamer myself,what im trying to say is how this inventions coincidentally drop on periods when there are tragic events, imo its more than just coincidence,just because its a mere video game doesnt mean it doesnt have any impact to human behaviours,after watching some clips online it even looks like a mind control tool,theres more to it than meet the eye bro,just keep an open eye.




Like i said its not just gaming,there are social apps that pop up too,celebrity gossips,natural disasters,movies and music that divert people's attention from whats happening in the world.

Lol i just wanted to check what the hype was all about pokemon go and i downloaded it,from installation you can already tell its up to no good.they asked for persmission to access my pic,video,camera,contacts,location(gps),email,date of birth..lmao i deleted the rubbish sharp sharp..do you still think its a harmless game?

Depends on whether it aims to be just a game or whether it will also moonlight as a social networking app.

Well, you need to have really good network reception and maybe walk around for a little bit as it's hard to get GPS reception inside a building
