Quit being racist guys, every tribe in this country is important,we all compliment one another. Igbo known for business and partly farming and education. Yoruba known for education and Hausa for farming and rearing. Neither of these tribes can survive on its own. So Lagos cant survive without Igbo's and other tribes. They need Igbo's mainly am not being racist, it's just the fact.

This one's brain is upside down. Making "hits" with Yoruba is attestation to the tenacity of Igbos. Taking a strange language and making billions from it. Igboman can never be "proud" of Yoruba language. Igbo language is wayyyyyyy to sweet.
You are making hit songs in Yoruba language and promoting it to the detriment of your Igbo language, all because of Money! SMH!

Do you think Foreigners and other Nigerians who hear such songs will believe the singer is not Yoruba? So long it is Yoruba you sing with, you will always be giving glory to the language .

Failure to sing in your own language is why Yoruba language is currently the most used language in African music. The language has more international hits songs than any other .

If you can't disprove the above fact, don't bother quoting me.

Misguided!
What Peter Obi did and what Fashola did are not the same thing. Peter laised with the Government of the indigenes state to take care of their wards on return. But Fashola just moved people to the middle of nowhere, dumped them there and moved on as if they are nothing. That was very bad of Fashola but I do accept the fact that he apologised.
.
Your failure to study the situation very well when it happened was due to tribalism.

Fashola WROTE letters to Anambra state government concerning the destitute and how he wanted to reunite them with their loved ones in Anambra cos they were being nuisance in Lagos. Peter Obi failed to respond, hence the reason why Lagos State government dumped the destitute in Anambra when no government official came to claim them on arriving onitsha. Pls google is your friend.

Instead of you guys to ask Peter Obi If he got notification from Lagos State government concerning the reunion, you are all twisting the story and viewing it from tribal lenses. Do you know that the first set of people Fashola deported were Yorubas from Ibadan and Osun? He even deported Hausa people, yet we heard no cry from them. Maybe your cries then is why people think you can't do without Lagos.

What have you done concerning T.A orji who deported other non-Abians who are even igbos?

The heart of the industry is in Lagos so smart tenacious Igbo artistes conquer the eastern market then go on to conquer the main market-Lagos,by bringing the Yoruba language under their dominion. This shows great adaptability and grit. Yoruba being most used whatever is your business

Your people dump their own language for Yoruba language and you are even proud to say it. Cover your face in shame.

Thank God you said to the average igbo man and not the average Nigerian, that would have probably mattered. Lol but it's igbo so it doesn't and will never matter.

Oh and it will never hurt. What would have hurt is if I come into the world as a igbo girl. I will forever regret it and probably blame God. grin grin grin

But God is just great.

What on earth are you talking about? Is Lagos not in Nigeria? Is Anambra State not in Nigeria? Every citizen in Nigeria has the freedom to live in any state they like, whether they have a job or not. You're acting like we're talking about two different countries, where there are immigration laws that one has to adhere to. If you don't want the "destitute" Igbos to live in Lagos then you should go and support IPOB or some other separatist group to get them to leave the country for good. You can't eat your cake and have it too...

No they cant

Taking away lagos from Igbos is like taking away oxygen. because igbos are very industrious and hardworking. Its only a few that cause problems for the others

That's why you are so uneducated. People found cities, cities don't found people.
An educated question you should be asking is "can Lagos survive without Igbos? "

[quote]You people need to stop fooling yourselves. If igbos own 70% of investments in Lagos, where will you place the Yorubas who own the land, the Hausas like dangote, other Nigerians and most especially the multinationals? Do you think owning 2 by 2 shops equates to controlling the investments of a state?

Lmao.
