Not a bad result. The interest rates are inching up. To make more money in the second half of the year. We may be looking at 60k EPS for the full year and 40k dividend in the horizon.

Not a buy recommendation.

They should be able to pay interim dividend. 1.5 billion gain from the sale of investment should be paid out as interim dividend. That's about 25k per share

ucap don't usually pay interim div and I'm not sure they're about to start what they cannot finish. paying interim div now will create expectations of subsequent interim dividends from investors. They may pay Special Dividend or put the money back to the business and pay a bumper full year dividend for 2016.

how do u know for sure that it cannot be delisted? if it gets to 0.50, it is advisable to observe if the offers will pile up. if it changes direction northward, the brave ones to JI will benefit while the late comers will be the hunted monkeys. if skye should continue like this, it will hit 0.54 by friday and become 'tempting to touch'

Based on my own study of the share price ALONE in relation to it's fundamentals (which are ridiculously strong) I think that the price of UCAP may have topped out (at N2.65) for the short term. A good Q2 result is not likely to produce any other exceptional bull as people already knew since almost 2 months ago that their Q2 would be very good. The only game changer would be payment of dividend, which is a 50:50 thing really.

You may hang in there or look for some other stock cos any interim bear that hits the market as a whole this period will affect it just like any other good stock.

Just my thoughts, which I have held since last week.

Flourmills looks good for long term. the stock has be making series of higher highs and may not retest previous lows any time soon.
