Few months ago, Airtel Nigeria introduced Airtel SmartTrybe Tariff plan which then make users to enjoy Hourly Unlimited Night plan at N100 for 1HR and N200 for 2HRS. I remember then, a friend of mine was able to downloads up to 15.3GB within 3HRS with the Hourly Unlimited Night plan.

Well, its seems the Unlimited Hourly Night Plan is not favorable for Airtel NG as they scrap the Unlimited Hourly Night Plan and introduce another new data offer. Airtel NG have unleash 500MB for N25 and 1.5GB for N50 which valid for one single night at the Hour of 12 mid-night to 5AM.

Though, this new Airtel Night plan offer "500MB for N25 and 1.5GB for N50" looks cheap but you can never compare it to the former Hourly Unlimited Data which costs N100 for 1HR and N200 for 2HRS respectively.

Along side with this new night data plan, Airtel also introduce 1GB for N500 which valid for 1Week and N200 for 200mb + 30Min Airtel calls weekend offer and free 15mb for 7days when you recharge with N200.

All these above data offers worked only when you are on Airtel SmartTrybe tariff plan. The Tariff plan also feature 11k/s calls charges for all national networks (N6.60K/min). If you are interested in these tariff offer then below is how to migrate to it.

its good plan if you have up to 4sims cards like. so I can get 6gb to download with just #200..good but I still prefer the 1H #100 plan because its unlimited and I have downloaded 4gb one nite with it

Yeah sure, its never be compare to the former Hourly Unlimited Data which costs N100 for 1HR and N200 for 2HRS. Though this new package too is cheap but Unlimited is better than 1.5gb. Lol

If I exhaust my 1.5 gig, can I still subscribe anoda, within the 5hr time?

exactly at 12am or 12:01am and make sure your time is correct.. i'll suggest to do it by 12:05.. i used it to download 3 movies(with my two sims) today..

The download speed is location dependent,if you're getting 2G speed in your area then it might not be suitable for you..

Left to me I don't buy this. The unlimited plan is da bomb but since airtel decide to scrap it to a plan which even refused to be activated I think this is the perfect time to go back to MTN. Fuc.k airtel.

Stupid airtel that refuses to learn from their past mistakes. These small act of inconsiderate behavior goes a long way to make customers lose trust and credibility in them. The same curse/spirit of inconsistency and instability that trailed them from the days of econet-vmobile-celtel-zain-airtel is beginning to manifest again. First they introduced normal night hourly plan, after we're used to it, cancelled it, followed by smartrybe hourly plan, after we're used to it, stupidly cancelled it again and foolishly introduced another data based plan which I'm sure they will cancel as soon as that spirit possess them again. I feel like breaking their sim and forget all about them and their instability and stupidity.

Airtel are very stupid..
I just borrowed #1000 from them, and after exhausting it, I broke the sim and threw it away. I realized something was wrong with their network earlier yesterday...
