I saw on a thread on nairaland where you gave to some no of people that were to send their email address first, that was some years back and i said to myself how i wish it is now my email add would have been the first you will get but then i decided to ask on fb and my liver come fail because i do not like taking advantage of people. Since this so called increment in feed cost i had being looking for other ways or alternative feed/food to save cost to feed our fishes & i remember the philosophy that what is good for man would essentially have some or immense value for animals too,hence something most of us know & readily available could do some good to farmers that are not yet in the know. What iam talking of is parkia biglobosa, it contains 35% protein,29% lipids,carbohydrate(CHO) 16% and it also has fats with calcium.

before you begin 2 wonder what is parkia biglobosa,Na so consultant will first threaten so you go fear(Laugh),it is the common Iru in yoruba,dawadawa in hausa/igbo.From available research,it had being used to replace fishmeal 100% in some & result was great,in some 50% & 50% cotton meal cake,in some certain proportion & no regret. Had being used in researches here & abroad on even fries with fingerlings.You go online to read & decide your own research idea to get yr formula

you dey too much in a hurry, if i wont say it,i wont write it. Na common iru that we put in our soup/stew. Just do your sampling & get what is best for you in terms of % to use,at what stage that it is most economic viable for your farm etc. and in most research done,no death. so you get to work & choose your path

looking at this composition,i could see it is rich in protein,mayb 30+%,has CHO,has some oil from GNC & Gnut,good calcium from bonemeal,though bonemeal could b reduce,but u need to test it for palatability,pollution & even take it to a lab to get the real analysis.Another area to evaluate, is the feed easily converted by fish to flesh,all the combination LOOKS good,but some essential things are missing,though might be gotten in trace quantity in maybe one or two of the material,something like vitamin c,methionine & lysine(can find in livestovit,palm oil).Though they are needed in small quantity,but they play significant role in boosting immune & growth & fighting diseases.Just a thought

hmmmmm, there are many paths in fishfarming. One only need to create his/her path,follow another or be held through. I Already gave my thought,you sample it & research,give us your feedback from experience of using the formula.

Great. What does it do that china product wont/cant do? Can the system store energy during the day & make it available at least for some hours at night? Because oxygen is mostly needed due to low temperature at night,though day aerator would had given the fishes healthy environment all through the day.

pouring hot water solves nothing,you only create undue temperature & you might even cook you eggs. I know stove could be use,but dont encourage it for safety. Anyone that want to do hatchery should understand that you dont sleep as log, you be alert,though sleeping /resting & be checking if any of your set up is intact .

The specific detail you will measure,since we are talking fishfarming & its survival, measure the concentration of your oxygen at night & early in the morning. That is critical time that most fishes die,get disease etc.
