Buhari Is Clearly Fighting His Perceived Enemies And Not Corruption. by attacker321: 4:11pm On Jul 15, 2016
My good people, with all that has been happening recently, it is becoming crystal clear that buhari is fighting his perceived enemies and not corruption as he would have us believe.

The truth is like oil and no matter the amount of water poured on it, it will float.

Nigerians you can see for yourselves and judge, all these shouting that the Igbos have been doing is not for nothing.

Something is clearly wrong.

A lot of sai baba people are beginning to realise that buhari is a disaster, only those that are irredeemable are still shouting sai baba.

Make sure you don't die of heartache over my comments because they are bound to get even harsher.

Go tell those idiots you are plotting with on that little whatsapp group of yours that I said the most yall can do is spit all over my mentions.

Of course Na nw ur eyes just open? Mind u no President will foolishly persecute those dt saw his ascendancy which is why Tinubu will keep roaming d street flambuoyantly. Tinubu is corrupt yet Jonathan failed 2 bring him 2 book. Buhari is simply going d Machiaveli way. Suppress ur enemies until they are too weak to raise an eyebrow especially in Nigeria where d opposition always have nothing meaningful to offer save distractions. As to the corruption ish -Half bread is better than none atleast he is fighting corruption. When next his enemies too gain power let them fight Buhari and his friends too if they are found wanting.

@omenka,attacker 321,if I tell u I am not pained by this Dambazzau and Buratai shielding,i wud be denying the existence of God.
I without any apologies blived and wanted Buhari since 2007 when he contested with Yar'Adua.
That he defeated the fisherman was one of the best things that cud have happened to Nigeria.
My puzzle and pain is now this:how can a man with so much integrity, with so much people support, never before seen in Nigeria, coming into the presidency, continue frittering it away almost on a daily basis.
I cud tolerate with some pain, his seeming sectionalism;i cud grudgingly accept his slowness in decision making, despite Nigeria needing a twitter like approach to our monumental problems;i cud with much restraint and sometimes unbearable disappointment and pain, try to give him some time to fix the economy, which d govt seems overwhelmed by;but to now realise that the man is now being openly selective and choosy in those he unleashes his anticorruption agencies on,is a bridge too far for me to bear to cross.
As far back as 3mths or so ago,SR +daily trust broke the news of d fraudulent recruitments in CBN,he kept mute, ditto immigration and recently FIRS,same muteness.
Without formal evidence, some of his cabinet members were rumoured to be corrupt,we gave him d benefit of doubt. His COS,Kyari with SGF were exposed by both SR and PT,for past and present sleaze,he shamelessly did nothing, even promoting Kyari to d board of NNPC.
But this one of shamelessly shielding both Dambazzau and Buratai is one too bitter to swallow for me.
He has got it all wrong and diehard supporters of his like me,are stunned, disappointed and have lost some chunk of trust I had for him.
I wish he cud just tomorrow disappoint me and turnaround to be the same Buhari I felt I knew, trusted and 110% blived in and thus worked and canvassed for his victory.
But the summary of my present position on PMB is this:I barely watched nta and other local stations wen GEJ was in power, soon as pmb came in,i regularly watched the news bulletins to revel in his every action and utterance, but since this Buratai issue, now Dambazzau broke,i feel slightly nauseated watching nta 9pm news and so stopped watching and don't intend to do so again till I hear he has regained his senses and hearing ability, because now he is clearly deficient in both.

"The EFCC’s budget is not even up to N15bn, yet as a bonafide big thief worth N25bn, you already know you can match the EFCC naira for naira. Remember that its budget will not even be used to fight you alone, it has to fight other big thieves like you. When broken down per capita thief per thief, the EFCC probably has just about N100m to fight you"

My broda, this one pain reach bone make I no lie u.
Just finished reading a PTimes report where it was confirmed that what the govt/presidency said after the release of d report were lies;that indeed d report was doctored to exclude the part where Dambazzau was indeed indicted.
Watching Lai Muhammad now actually gets me nauseated!I also now have some distrust for PMB himself!!
I have always been objective and my 'sycophancy' does not include shielding corrupt individuals, particularly when done so blatantly and unashamedly;and also does not include govt inaction or cluelessness when the people are suffering/passing thru economic hardships.

Well it is welcomed.Personally I don't give a damn about any Nigerian politician as they are all birds of the same plummage flocking together.Never stick out your neck for any of them. Now this current government rode on the despondency but with yearning of desperate Nigerians for a change in all aspects of our national life. How one wished the APC had utilized this privilege despite that they also sprang up from a corrupt background as they're a conglomerate of past political looters, prostitutes, sycophants bootlickers etc.But alas barely have they won & settle down that the old order continue. Buhari have made an average Nigerian to loose hope on any corruption fight.Infact any politician that ever mention that in this country should be given the beating of his/her life.So we should never follow these set of people blindly as behind the scene, only God knows what happens.Happy Lord's day.

Here lies the greatest problem:
Look around and beyond PMB and what u see are touts, gangsters, murderers,thieves,rapists,certificate/document forgers and fantastically corrupt individuals. These are the people that wud likely seek for our votes come 2019 if PMB fails.
D thought of SarakiSheriff,Wike,Lamido,Dambazzau,Fayose etc, coming near d presidency must fill every sane person with dread.
That is why honestly we must try to salvage this president from the disaster it is stupidly trying to head itself into.

This is the same fear and trepidation most of us felt at the thought of a Jonathan defeat.
Our fears have come true even faster than we ever imagined .

The problem with Nigeria and most of Africa is the failure to build strong institutions that continue to function irrespective of who is at the center.

Just 2 yrs ago, Nigeria had a robust economy. Today, just after change at the center, everything is crumbling. No continuity.

Only a dumb person, a very dumb leader , would seek to destroy all positive legacies of his predecessors just to justify and legitimize his own messiahship.

Good opinion but as we know Nigerian politics is played dirty.Yeah Buhari could have written his name in gold by completely breaking himself free from the cabal around, but now he has been been over-whelmed.Check out the intra party power-tussle,padded budget, Secret recruitment scandals, senseless killings with no restrain or justice in sight & now the Buratai/ Danbazzuo issue.Buhari have lost it dear.

The evidence from PT here finally showed how selective his fight against corruption is and I can understand why doctokwus and others are pained about this. Imagine campaigning for someone and vouching for his integrity and get disappointed by the supposed integrity.

Oh . I have always been interested in politics, right from my teenage years. I have seen this country go through many political phases, and it pains me sooo much that it's deja vu all over again.
Every negative thing,. ethnic divisions, religious divisions, NEPOTISM , hypocrisy and corruption at the center, Despotism, ASO Rock being organized and run like a medieval court, etc etc.

When will we ever learn, when ?

Nigerian politics and religion share so much in common,.. Soooo much irrational beliefs.

For example, just as it is irrational to believe that a white God loves black Africans , same as it is to believe that a barely educated soldier with a medieval worldview, with no history of articulating a single vision, let alone achieving any, can steer a 21st century multicultural and multi-ethnic Nigeria to progress and prosperity.

We might all as well pack our things and wait for rapture.

The irrational belief in a Buhari presidency is as irrational as any religious belief that I have encountered.

Those who vouched or still vouching for Buhari's integrity did not do their homework.
It's a myth sold to a people unable to do a little critical analysis.
It's not too different from the religious myths that Africans are beholden to.
